Former Coronation Street star Colson Smith cut a happy glow as he walked arm in arm with his girlfriend to co-star Lucy Fallon’s 30th birthday

As his character Craig Tinker, Colson Smith was never lucky in love while living in Weatherfield. But it looks as though life does not imitate art as the actor, 27, was full of joy as he walked arm in arm with his girlfriend to attend former co-star Lucy Fallon’s 30th birthday.
At the time, the publication reported that they thought it best to keep their romance quiet to avoid the glare of the showbiz spotlight. A close friend said at the time: “Colson and Taylor are really happy together. He is a private person, but it felt like the right time to share the romance.”

They added: ” The pair mix in the same circles and are said to have met while out. Taylor is a make-up artist but also a wedding and events coordinator at Manchester Hall, where the Corrie cast often hosts parties.”

And while Colson was in the throws of happiness with Taylor, it seems Lucy had not only her birthday to celebrate but also her engagement.
The mum of two recently revealed that her partner Ryan Ledson has proposed. Taking to social media, Lucy told her followers: “Ending the birthday weekend with my best friend as a fiancé!!!! I can’t wait to marry you.”
And in good spirits, Colson jumped straight in to her comment section and wrote: “Delighted to be best man and maid of honour.” Colson joined Coronation Street back in 2011 but was shockingly axed from the ITV soap earlier this year.

He took to social media and wrote: “Autumn last year I was told that Craig Tinker’s time on the Cobbles is to come to end in 2025. I’ve loved every single second of my 14 year stay as a resident on the greatest street in the world. I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up in, on and around Coronation Street.”
He continued: “I’ve learned pretty much everything about life from the people who call it home. I’m excited to play out the exit story for our Craigy. For me, this is the end of the beginning. I genuinely can’t wait to see what chapter two has in store for me.”
