Lorna Luxe has revealed she is preparing for one of the most emotional chapters of her life: moving back into the striking ÂŁ2.5 million home she once imagined sharing with her late husband, John, before cancer changed everything.
Just six months after losing the love of her life, the influencer says she is finally ready to return to the property they lovingly called homeâand to create a lasting place where she can continue to feel close to him.
A House Filled With Dreams They Never Got to Finish
Lorna and John bought the remarkable property in 2023, instantly falling in love with its unusual architecture and peaceful surroundings. Nicknamed the âGhost Houseâ because of its minimalist glass-and-concrete design and the way it almost disappears into the landscape, it quickly became their dream home.
But their plans were thrown into chaos after severe flooding forced them to leave the property in 2025 while extensive repair work was carried out.
During that time, the couple moved into a rented home, believing they would eventually return once renovations were complete.
Instead, their lives took a heartbreaking turn.
John, who had been diagnosed with stage four adrenal cancer in 2023, died in February 2026 after a long and difficult battle with the disease. He was unable to see the home they had planned together restored.
Reflecting on that period, Lorna said one of her most treasured memories is watching John wander through the garden during the final summer they spent there before the repairs began.
Returning Alone
Although the move is something she and John had always planned together, Lorna admits she will now be walking through the front door without him.
Instead, she will be accompanied only by her beloved Maltese terrier, Kev Bear, joking that she is even considering getting him a larger companion capable of frightening off any potential burglars.
The move marks the first time she has returned to live in the house since Johnâs deathâa step she describes as both painful and necessary.

A Special Place for John
One of the most touching decisions Lorna has made is how she intends to keep Johnâs memory alive inside the home they loved.
She plans to place his ashes in an urn within the garden, creating a peaceful space where she can sit with a cup of tea and feel as though they are still spending quiet moments together.
Rather than viewing it simply as a memorial, Lorna hopes it will become somewhere she can continue talking to him and remembering the life they built together.
The Home They Were Excited to Transform
Before illness overtook their lives, the couple had spent countless hours discussing how they would personalise the property.
Among their biggest plans was redesigning separate âhis and hersâ bathrooms, one of many renovation ideas they hoped would make the modern house uniquely theirs.
Those conversations never became reality.
The 5,000-square-foot home remains one of Britainâs most unusual private residences. Built largely from exposed concrete and glass, it features a dramatic reflecting pool at its entrance, a cinema room, and a bedroom occupying the entire upper floor.
Designed as seven interconnected pods linked by glass corridors, the house appears almost invisible from certain angles thanks to its location and architectural design.
Living With Johnâs Advice
Lorna has also spoken about the practical advice John left behind before he died.
Following a previous burglary, he urged her to be especially careful about her personal safety and insisted she avoid wearing the 15-carat engagement ring he had bought her.
Honouring his wishes, she now keeps the ring stored securely at another property rather than wearing it publicly.
A Love Story That Changed Everything
Lorna first met John when she was working as a Virgin Atlantic flight attendant in her mid-twenties.
Believing completely in her potential, John left his career in banking to help build her business. The pair reportedly accumulated around ÂŁ300,000 in debt while establishing their brand, but his confidence in her never wavered.
That belief eventually paid off as Lorna became one of Britainâs best-known fashion and lifestyle influencers.
The couple celebrated 16 years of marriage before Johnâs death, having married on Lornaâs 26th birthday. To mark 15 years together, John surprised her by upgrading her engagement ring to a stunning 15-carat diamond.
Learning to Look Ahead
While grieving, Lorna has continued to speak openly about life after loss.
She has previously admitted that becoming a mother remains something she is still considering, despite the future she had once imagined with John being taken away.
She has also suggested that if she ever finds love again, she would prefer to keep any future relationship largely out of the public eye.
Earlier this year, Lorna shared an honest account of Johnâs final days, explaining that his passing was far more difficult than she had expected. She described watching every breath become increasingly exhausting and said the reality of losing him was nothing like the peaceful scenes often portrayed in films.
As she sorted through his belongings afterwards, she discovered heartfelt notes and practical instructions he had left for herâincluding passwords, loving messages, and even a humorous list of people he jokingly didnât want her to date.
Now, as she prepares to return to the house where so many of their shared dreams began, Lorna is embracing a future she never wantedâbut one she hopes will always leave room for Johnâs memory.
