“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Total Viewers (3.049 million) on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.

• “This Week” hit season highs in both Total Viewers (3.049 million) and Adults 25-54 (419,000), drawing its largest overall audience in 1 year and delivering its best news demo performance in over 6 months — since 1/12/25 and 6/22/25, respectively.
• “This Week” (3.049 million) posted its largest Total Viewer lead (+182,000) over CBS’ “Face the Nation” 1 and 2 (2.867 million) of the season. In fact, it was its largest in nearly 5 months — since 8/10/25.
• In addition, “This Week” outperformed NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+29,000 – 3.049 million vs. 3.020 million) for the 5th consecutive telecast.
• “This Week” improved on the year-ago Sunday in Total Viewers (+7% – 3.049 million vs. 2.853 million).
• Season to date, “This Week” leads NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+85,000 – 2.641 million vs. 2.556 million) and CBS’ “Face the Nation” 1 and 2 in Adults 25-54 (+6,000 – 375,000 vs. 369,000).

George Stephanopoulos is anchor, Martha Raddatz is chief global affairs correspondent and co-anchor, and Jonathan Karl is chief Washington correspondent and co-anchor of “This Week.”
