tacey Solomon tonight returned to Britainâs Got Talent but she left viewers scratching their heads with her Golden Buzzer act.
Stacey was once again filling in for Simon Cowell, who missed some of the earlier auditions after falling unwell.
The star slipped straight back into the role of judge and even slammed down the Golden Buzzer midway through the show.

But fans have been left seriously puzzled by her choice.
Britainâs Got Talentâs Stacey baffles fans with Golden Buzzer
Stacey sat alongside Britainâs Got Talent judges KSI, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden on Saturday night.
She was left blown away by a singer called Kristal, who performed a Whitney Houston number. Stacey slammed her red buzzer down as another act â an American man â stripped off and threw himself on top of a pile of mouse traps.
Later in the show, Stacey really made her mark on this yearâs series. She was so impressed with one audition that she gave them the Golden Buzzer.

Wearing brightly coloured T-shirts, the children began singing All Things Bright and Beautiful. Amanda admitted the hymn was one of her favourites.
But midway through their performance, Mr T was pushed off the stage by a child wearing a âMini Mr Tâ suit. Their teacher returned wearing a silver baseball cap and neon T-shirt, emblazoned with âMr T Raving Headteacherâ.
He was also wheeling a speaker behind him.
Kids suddenly appeared with glow sticks and handed them to the judges, while the stage erupted. The pupils and Mr T began raving to tracks including the 1997 dance anthem, Freed From Desire.
The judges and the live studio audience all began dancing up and down along with them.
Stacey was so taken by the pupils that she gave them the Golden Buzzer. Pressing the giant gold button, she grinned as golden confetti began pouring onto the childrenâs heads.
âYou are what life is all about, you are the future!â she told Mr T and his excited pupils.
âMost tragic Golden Buzzerâ
But not everyone agreed with Staceyâs choice. In fact, plenty of fans were baffled by her decision to send the act straight through to the live semi-finals.
Taking to X, one viewer wrote: âWhere was the talent in the kids dancing to songs then ? If thatâs the case every kidsâ school should be on this programme.â

Another added: âIf thats golden buzzer worthy then #BritainsGotTalent #BGT is finished. Itâs over produced and awful.â
A third said: âSo all you need to do to get the gold buzzer on BGT is go on stage in colourful shirts and jump around? Got it.â
And someone else wrote: âMost tragic golden buzzer. Stacey doesnât watch BGT Iâm guessing.â
Others have supported her decision, however.
âMr T is one cool headteacher what a fab guy!â gushed a viewer. Agreeing, another said: âThese kids are so joyful!â
Meanwhile, elsewhere KSI and Simon Cowell were left gobsmacked by a magic trick involving a watermelon.
