Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder are being loudly called upon by frustrated This Morning viewers to rescue the show, as current hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard continue to disappoint.
After taking over from beloved presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield last year, Cat and Ben officially stepped into the spotlight in March. But despite their best efforts, many fans say their chemistry just isnât clicking â and patience is wearing thin.
On Wednesdayâs episode, Cat appeared thrilled while showcasing Dame Shirley Basseyâs glamorous jewelry collection, even trying on sparkling pieces with visible excitement. But viewers at home werenât sharing her joy. Instead, they flocked to X (formerly Twitter) to unleash a storm of criticism.
âCat was completely the wrong choice,â raged one viewer. âShe interrupts constantly, has no rapport with guests, and poor Ben looks more annoyed every day. Total disaster. #ThisMorning.â
Another added: âI feel such a weird tension between Ben and Cat. You can tell theyâre not enjoying it. â
One comment didnât hold back: âBen is clearly sick of the Cat Deeley Show. During the cooking segment and diamond pieces, he literally couldnât get a word in! â
As fans voice their frustration, theyâre also putting forward a solution: bring in Rob Rinder and Rylan Clark. The duo, who have been winning hearts on BBCâs Rob and Rylanâs Grand Tour, are seen as the dream replacement to breathe new life into This Morning.

âItâs obvious. Rylan and Rob would absolutely smash it. #ThisMorning.â
Amid the ongoing buzz, there have even been rumors about a romantic connection between Rob and Rylan. But Rylan set the record straight recently after Rob playfully hinted their âfriendship had turned to love.â
Rylan also stepped up to defend his beloved mum, Linda, after a journalist unexpectedly showed up at her home. He posted online:
âTo the journalist who just doorstepped my mum â please donât. Sheâs 71, and while she said you were polite, it makes me uncomfortable. The answer is no, Iâm not dating Rob Rinder; heâs one of my closest friends. Next time, just tweet me. Thanks.â
With tensions rising and calls for a major shake-up growing louder, fans are waiting to see if ITV will finally listen â and give them the dynamic duo they crave.
