The latest One Piece live-action season 2 trailer is here, and Netflix used cuts to celebrate some of the more notable moments and characters captured in this adaptation. As a reminder, it picks up once the Straw Hat Pirates have Luffy, Nami, Usopp, and Zoro and are heading out on the Going Merry to the Grand Line. It immediately follows the events of  the first season and sets the stage for at least one of two more crew members to join the cast. This is also one of the longer looks at the upcoming episodes of the show, as it comes in at about three minutes long.

Things begin with celebrations. We see Luffy, Nami, Usopp, and Zoro celebrating as they had out to the Grand Line. There’s also a brief scene with Chopper as he sits alongside Dr. Hiriluk and talks with him. A few of the islands they visit show up, as well as members of Baroque Works. We see a talk with Mr 8, for example, as well as Miss All Sunday, Miss Goldenweek, Mr 3, and Miss Wednesday. This also means seeing some of the in-combat moments with the crew.

Here’s the latest One Piece season 2 trailer from Netflix:

Prior to this, a shorter trailer appeared that focused on Baroque Works members. In particular, Miss All Sunday and Miss Wednesday were featured individuals in it.

The first season of the One Piece live-action adaptation is on Netflix now, and season 2 launches on March 10, 2026. A third season is confirmed. The anime is on both Netflix and Crunchyroll. Viz Media handles the manga outside of Japan.

“We put together an amazing crew, made it to the Grand Line, and now we’re one step closer to our dreams,” Luffy (played by Iñaki Godoy) rejoices in a new trailer for the second season of ONE PIECE, debuting March 10.

New episodes find Luffy and his Straw Hats — which include Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero), and Sanji (Taz Skylar) — venturing into the legendary Grand Line in search of the fabled One Piece treasure.

“At the end of the first season, our characters made this pledge around a barrel to achieve their dreams,” showrunner Joe Tracz tells Tudum. About Season 2, titled ONE PIECE: Into the Grand Line, he says, “We’re going to see how those dreams are put to the test. Every place they stop in the Grand Line is going to test one of the Straw Hats in a unique way. And they’re going to learn that if they’re going to fulfill their dreams, they have to have each other’s backs.”

The upcoming season will unleash “fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet,” per the official synopsis. The quest takes our brave crew to exciting new locations, including Loguetown, where the pirate era began; Reverse Mountain, a perilous summit with a river that flows upward; the seemingly pirate-friendly island of Whisky Peak; the prehistoric island of Little Garden; and Drum Island, best known for its endless winter and exceptional doctors.

As seen in the trailer above, the Straw Hats will encounter formidable assassins who are unlike anything they’ve ever faced. “These Baroque Works guys are different,” Usopp notes in the preview. “They’re crazy powerful.”

“He tries so hard to hide his emotions and put on a tough exterior, but underneath, he’s a big softy, and his love can’t help but come out,” Hoover previously said of the fan-favorite character.

Along with the trailer, ONE PIECE manga creator Eiichiro Oda, aka Oda Sensei, shared a letter celebrating the new season’s imminent arrival and teasing the remarkable odyssey ahead.

“All the conventions that were established in Season 1 will be shattered,” he wrote. “A parade of Devil Fruit users, a race of giants never before seen, adorable creatures, hard-hitting action, and stunning VFX — this season is packed with even more highlights!! Let yourself be drawn into an immersive experience that’s unique to live-action.” You can read the letter in full below.
