Victoria Beckham was asked about her husband Davidâs affair with Rebecca Loos in a no-holds-barred chat with Call Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper on Wednesday.
The fashion designer, 51, was asked: âYouâve dealt with speculation throughout your whole career about your marriage.
âI know David touched on this in the documentary. Can you just explain how you and David handled this?â
David, 50, famously talked about the reports surrounding his 2004 affair with his former PA Rebecca in his own Netflix show, released in October 2023.

This is the moment Victoria Beckham was asked about husband Davidâs affair with Rebecca Loos in the new Call Her Daddy interview, released on Wednesday

Davidâs former personal assistant Rebecca, 46, claimed in 2004 that she had a fling with him and he alluded to the fallout on his own 2023 Netflix documentary (pictured in 2004)
She said: âDo you know⌠weâve had so much thrown at us and we were talking about it because weâve recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary and by the way, people said it wouldnât workâŚ
â26 years,â she reiterated.
âWeâve had so much thrown at us and weâve always just been there together and just ridden the damn storm.â
Moving on swiftly, Victoria moved the topic on to talk about her eating disorder which she bravely discussed for the first time in her own recently released eponymous Netflix show.
Meanwhile, the director of Davidâs Netflix documentary previously said the sportsman did come clean about his so-called affair with Loos, after Rebecca accused him of making her âlook like a liarâ by skirting around the subject in the four-part series.
The former footballer made no direct reference to an affair and did not admit to any guilt in the new four part docuseries, titled Beckham â but did address the âhorribleâ aftermath, which he claimed left him âfeeling sick every dayâ.
Rebecca, now 46, who worked as Davidâs assistant before going public with details of their alleged secret liaison, accused him of âportraying himself as the victimâ and shirking responsibility.
But now director Fisher Stevens, 59, has seemingly shot down her claims that David âdidnât come clean in the docâ.
Speaking about the âtabloidisation of the affairs or the assumed affairs, which he diplomatically⌠not even diplomatically, which he didnât handleâŚâ Marc added: âHe didnât come clean in the docâŚâ
Fisher replied: âHe did.â

The director of Davidâs documentary, Fisher Stevens, claimed that David âdidâ come clean about his 2004 affair in his recent Netflix show, after Rebecca accused him of making her âlook like a liarâ by skirting around the subject in the four-part series

The docuseries faced criticism for brazenly doctoring a newspaper article about the scandal

After watching the series, Rebecca accused David of âportraying himself as the victimâ
âWell whatever they were able to survive in that was a testament to whatever that family was made out of, and what sheâs made out of,â Marc said.
Rebecca, now a mother-of-two and living in Norway, had expressed her disdain for Davidâs handling of the scandal, telling The Mail on Sunday that she wanted him to admit to it.
âYes, the stories were horrible, but theyâre true,â she said. âHe talks in the documentary about this ultimately being his private life, shutting it down.
âI think itâs one thing to keep your private life to yourself. Itâs another thing to mislead the public. And so many people had forgotten about all of this. So many people put all this behind them, this whole affair, the scandal and everything. And heâs dragged it back up again in a way that is affecting my reputationâŚ
âI think if he was going to touch on this time and how difficult it was, it would have been really nice for him to have said âit was not my proudest timeâ.â
Critics accused Fisher of edging around the subject of infidelity because neither the name âLoosâ nor the word âaffairâ are mentioned.
David instead spoke about his wife Victoria, telling viewers: âVictoria is everything to me, to see her hurt was incredibly difficult.â
He also admitted he still doesnât know how the family got through the crisis and said they felt as though they were âdrowningâ when the scandal hit the headlines.
Former Spice Girl Victoria also spoke about the pain she suffered following the rumors, claiming she felt like the couple no longer âhad each otherâ.
The docuseries charted Davidâs meteoric rise to football super stardom and his highly publicised relationship with Victoria.
Despite previously claiming ânothing was really off limitsâ and that he âcould have gone anywhere,â Fisher told Maron that there were areas David refused to discuss.
âIt was tricky,â he said. âThere was other things I had to cut out because David just wouldnât go there with me.â
When Marc mentioned the fact that it might be because David is British, Fisher continued: âThey are⌠very repressed. The guy never looks back, I mean there were moments where he couldnât even⌠his body.â
