ITV has just announced a bold new shake-up to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! — and it’s a move inspired by none other than Love Island. The survival hit, hosted by Ant and Dec, will return later this year with a modern twist designed to keep fans glued to their screens like never before.
For the first time in the show’s two-decade history, viewers will be treated to exclusive teaser trailers before each night’s episode — much like Love Island’s “first look” clips that dominate social media.
These mini-previews will give fans a taste of what’s to come in camp — the tension, the tears, the laughs, and of course, the bugs — hours before the full episode airs on TV.
“We know how popular Love Island’s preview clips are, so we wanted to offer something similar,” an ITV insider told The Sun. “Camp life can be both dramatic and hilarious — and these new teasers will give viewers a cheeky glimpse of all that before the show airs each night.”
The announcement comes after ITV bosses unveiled the first major rebrand of the show in almost 20 years, signalling a fresh era for the jungle juggernaut.

Wayne Rooney

Former footie star Wayne, 40, teased that he could be one of the celebrities on this year’s show after dropping a huge hint on his podcast The Wayne Rooney Show.
Wayne teased: ‘I think I would … I would … at the right time.
‘I’d struggle with some of the trials, though. Y’know the worst one, y’know where they walk into a room [and] there’s like a big ostrich just looking at you.’
His wife of 17 years, Coleen Rooney, 39, was one of the cast of the 24th series last year.
The WAG placed second, just behind McFly star Danny Jones, 39.
Tommy Fury

Boxer Tommy, 26, who is Tyson Fury’s brother, shot to fame on Love Island in 2019.
The dad-of-one was reportedly supposed to take part in the show last year, but ‘pulled out’ two weeks before he was expected to fly out to the Australian jungle.
So could he be one of the celebrities on the show in 2025?
Previously talking to The Mirror about the possibility of taking part, Tommy said: ‘I’m a Celeb is an amazing show and it’s something I want to do in the future but at the end of the day I am what I am, I’m a fighter and I’ve been doing it since I was a kid.’
Alex Scott

Former footballer Alex, 41, has had a successful career on the pitch – but will she be as victorious in the jungle?
Telly presenter and former footballer Alex, 41, has had a successful career on the pitch playing for the likes of Arsenal, Birmingham City and Great Britain.
She’s since become a very popular pundit.
But do you think that she’ll be as victorious in the trials as on the pitch?
A source told The Sun: ‘Alex loves pushing herself out of her comfort zone and where better to do it than the jungle?
‘The public know her as a sportswoman and a serious broadcaster so she thinks she can show people a side to her that they’ve never seen before.
‘Alex is game for anything and is a tough cookie so she’s ready for anything that gets thrown at her — literally.’
Shona McGarty

Shona is best known for playing Whitney Dean on EastEnders between 2008 to 2024.
The soap star left the BBC soap to pursue other things.
Could the Australian jungle be one of them?
Jools Oliver

Chef Jamie tied the knot with his wife in 2000 and the pair share five kids.
The cook revealed to Ant and Dec that he wasn’t keen to go in the jungle, but that Jools might be up for it.
He told them: ‘But what I can give you is my wife Jools. She would love to be on the show.’
Conor Benn

The 29-year-old professional boxer is another name that has come up.
A source told The Sun: ‘The logistics are a challenge given how close the match is to the start of the jungle but ITV and Conor are keen to make this happen if they can.”
‘Conor’s profile has soared due to the intense rivalry between him and Chris Eubank Jr.
‘Obviously, Conor’s main priority is the fight. But with his great physique, he is also likely to provide the show with this year’s male pin-up.
‘I’m A Celeb bosses think he’ll make a great addition to the camp. One option is that he goes in as a late entry.’
Denise van Outen

Will she be another celebrity on the show this year?
A source told The Sun: ‘She is really fun and gets on with everyone, so bosses reckon she will be a hit with viewers.
‘It has been a hard decision to go on the show, because it will mean so much time away from her kids, but she wants to fight her fears and go for it.’
Lisa Riley

Lisa, 49, is an actress who is arguably best known for playing Mandy Dingle on ITV soap Emmerdale.
The star has played the owner of PampaManda since 1995.
However she has also landed roles in other shows such as Coronation Street, Fat Friends, Doctors, The Bill, Holby City, Young Dracula, Waterloo Road and Moving On.
But she could be about to swap the Yorkshire Dales for the Australian jungle.
A source told The Sun: ‘Lisa is the perfect celebrity for the show because not only is she from a soap watched by millions she’s one of its biggest characters and it’s an ITV show to boot.
‘She also has a naughty, mischievous sense of humour which is guaranteed to get a big response from her other celebrity campmates during their time in the jungle.
‘Lisa is by no means the first star from Emmerdale to have gone on I’m a Celebrity and those that do always tend to get a great response from viewers at home.’
