The BBC host was left speechless during the politics programme.

Fiona Bruce hosted Thursdayâs episode of Question Time from Kingâs Lynn where she was joined by Scotlandâs Secretary of State Douglas Alexander, Conservative MP James Cartlidge, General Secretary of the University and College Union Jo Grady and podcaster, satirist and political commentator Konstantin Kisin.
The BBC host took a question from audience member Simon, who asked, âHow can anyone think Reform are a party of change when they only appear to be a care home for old Tories?â The cheeky question got a laugh from inside the studio, as Fiona remarked, âI think itâs clear where you stand on the issue Simon.â
She then turned to panellist, and said, âKonstantine, [is Reform] a care home for old Tories?â
âWell itâs interesting,â he replied, âyou introduced me as a Reform supporter which I am not.â As the room went quiet, Konstantine continued, âI was asked a question about which party seems to be addressing the issues that I care about. Of all the parties on offer, Reform is doing more of that.â

A stunned Fiona interjected: âI was just quoting you actually Constantine. You were saying they offer the best hope for the country in the next election.
He corrected: âI never said that!â
The Question Time presenter remained silent as the podcaster went on to clarify his previous statement.
Konstantine explained: âItâs not to say I disagree with it. We are so far away from the next election how can you know which party offers the best hope.
[Reform] are talking about the issues that are important. Theyâre talking about net zero, theyâre talking about economic stagnation. They have a sensible understanding of the trans-atlantic relationship. Iâm in favour of all that.â
If Keir Starmer comes out as being pro dealing with illegal immigration, which he isnât, if he comes out about net zero, which he isnât, I will vote for him in a heartbeat.â

He then attempted to shut down the BBC presenter as he concluded, âback to your questionâ.
Social media users flocked to comment on the awkward moment as one X user said: âSecret Reform fan @KonstantinKisin shouting everyone down.â
Another branded Konstantin âarrograntâ, while a third remarked: âI donât think KK likes being challenged #bbcqt.â
While others defended the panellist as they wrote: âMust be watching something different to me.â
At the start of the programme, Fiona introduced Konstantin saying, âheâs been described as an anti-woke libertarianâ.
She added, âhe said Reform UK offers the best hope for the country at the next electionâ. He denied ever saying this.
