Today, our brave little Tony goes in for his 33rd general anaesthetic.

Even after being by his side for the last ten, it still shatters me every single time. There’s no way to get used to watching your child endure things no child should ever have to face. The hospital rooms, the procedures, the quiet fear in such a small body… it’s a kind of pain that never fades.
If I could, I would take it all from him in a heartbeat.
I wish he never had to know any of this—no surgeries, no hospital stays, no fear.
Today marks another milestone. Tony is having the plate and pins removed from when he fractured his hip 16 months ago. It feels like the end of one chapter… but at the same time, the beginning of another challenge: six long weeks of being non–weight bearing.
Six weeks may not sound like much, but for a little boy full of life and energy, it’s a mountain to climb.
We’re back in Sheffield, surrounded once again by the incredible care and kindness of Mr. Fernandez and his team. They have walked this journey with Tony time and time again, guiding him through each moment with compassion and expertise. We are endlessly grateful to have them by our side.
And Tony…
You amaze me. Every single day.
Your strength isn’t just in how you endure the hard moments, but in how you keep going, how you still find light, how you continue to fight with a courage far beyond your years.
We will keep fighting together.
No matter how hard it gets.
Because love like this never gives up.
