Madonna seen putting up posters plugging her album at night in east London
Madonna’s new album, Confessions On A Dancefloor: Part II, is due for release this summer – and ahead of the big event, the Queen of Pop took herself to Shoreditch to do some self promotion with glue and a paint brush.
Madonna was seen putting up posters promoting her album late at night in east London, as she posted an Instagram video documenting the experience. Madonna, whose new album Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II is due for release on July 3, 2026.
In the video, Madonna alongside two men can be seen plastering posters for the new work across London, including the capital’s eastern hotspot Shoreditch.
The video is set to ‘Bring Your Love’, her duet with Sabrina Carpenter, and was captioned: “Did you find yours?” As well as seeing Madonna with glue and a brush, fans were delighted to see the poster reveals there are 12 tracks on the album.
This includes one called ‘Danceteria’, named after the legendary 80s New York nightclub. While there are expected to be a number of features on the album, the track list doesn’t name them – including Sabrina Carpenter.
Fans took to the comments to express their delight, with one person writing: “Wow this blows my mind. Madonna puttin up her own posters. Absolute queen.”
A second person said: “Hardest working woman in show business. No one comes close,” while a third person penned: “I love a queen that works hard to get where she’s at.”
In support of Madonna’s efforts, another commented: “I appreciate you taking it back to encourage all of us who are out here still doing guerilla marketing!!!! You know I’m getting it and I will play it at every party. I can!!!”
The Queen of Pop’s fans won’t be surprised to see Sabrina Carpenter make an appearance on the album after she brought out Madonna on stage at Coachella.
According to producer Stuart Price, Madonna and Sabrina had “immediate” chemistry when they came together to record their joint song.
Speaking at a listening event for Confessions On A Dance Floor: Part II, Stuart said the duo had already been in touch online before the collaboration took shape.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: “Her and Sabrina had been in touch on social media. The idea of doing a song together came up. Madonna’s first response was, ‘let’s get in the room together and see’, because you just don’t know.”
The music professional said the team travelled to New York to begin work, and the dynamic between the two artists was a hit straight away.
“You’ve got one of the biggest stars in the world at the moment and one of the biggest stars of all time. Their physical chemistry from the second they got together in the studio was really immediate. They were funny together.” Upon the single’s release, Sabrina encouraged both of their fans to take a phone break and “get out and dance” to the song.
She shared to Instagram: “Thank you Madonna for inviting me to be a part of Confessions II. I hope you all enjoy it and take a break from phones and go out and dance.”
