KERRY Katona proved she’s still got the star power to stop a festival in its tracks after fans went wild for her Mighty Hoopla performance.
The former Atomic Kitten singer, 45, took a break from her hectic UK tour schedule to perform a special Kerry-Oke set at the London festival on Sunday – and festivalgoers lapped up every minute.
Kerry belted out a string of crowd-pleasing classics including Whole Again, Dancing Queen, Wannabe, I Will Survive and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as thousands sang along.
The reality star later admitted she had been overwhelmed by the response.
Sharing snaps and videos from the event on Instagram, Kerry wrote: “Wow wow wow @mightyhoopla you guys were everything!!
“Never ever thought I’d be where I am today and wouldn’t be if it wasn’t for all your support and to have that much love from you guys and have my kids there too was just everything.
“Thank you sooooooo much for having me. I had the best time, I hope you did too.
“It’s not about how many times you fall… it’s about how many times you get back up.”
Fans flooded the comments section to praise the star’s appearance.
One wrote: “STOP!!!! One of my absolute Hoopla weekend highlights!!”
Another said: “Your transparency, honesty in all of your life’s journey is why so many of us follow you and you deserve all this happiness and success coming at you now because of this.”
A third added: “You looked INCREDIBLE.”
Others branded the performance “obsessed”, “absolutely amazing” and “brilliant”.
Making the day even more special, Kerry’s daughter Heidi, 19, watched proudly from the crowd and later shared a touching tribute online, writing: “That’s my mommy.”
The reception marks another high point in what has been a busy year for Kerry.
She is currently touring the country in ABBA tribute spectacular Super Troupers, where she stars alongside a cast performing the Swedish pop group’s biggest hits.
Her Mighty Hoopla appearance came during a huge weekend for the festival, which welcomed a host of music and LGBTQ+ icons to Brockwell Park.
Sunday’s headline slot belonged to Scissor Sisters, who delighted fans by bringing out a string of surprise guests.
The band were joined by Belinda Carlisle for a rendition of Heaven Is A Place On Earth before welcoming Kelly Osbourne on stage for a performance of her 2005 hit One Word.
Actor Sir Ian McKellen also made a surprise appearance to recreate his spoken-word monologue from Scissor Sisters track Invisible Light.
But for many festivalgoers, Kerry’s feel-good singalong set was among the standout moments of the weekend.
The singer has spoken openly in previous years about rebuilding her life and career following a turbulent period away from the spotlight.
She told fans: “Live isn’t always rainbows and unicorns we have to deal with things we don’t like!
“But got to stare this s*** in the face and be done with it!!!!”
And life appears to be firmly back on track for the former chart-topper.
Alongside her successful run in ABBA tribute show Super Troupers, Kerry has also found happiness with boyfriend Paolo Margaglione after the pair met while filming reality dating series Celebs Go Dating in 2025.
The mum-of-five previously said she was thrilled the programme had helped her find love, proving the dating experiment really can work.
