A Star-Studded Fight for Survival

The upcoming thriller boasts an incredibly talented core duo. Starring Greta Lee (Past Lives) and Wagner Moura (Narcos, The Secret Agent), the film follows a family of four who find themselves suddenly and inexplicably sealed inside their own home.

As the boundaries of reality begin to unravel around them, they are pushed into a desperate, claustrophobic struggle for survival against dwindling resources and a mysterious, looming threat waiting just outside.

Helmed by a Master of Action and Suspense

Directing the project is Louis Leterrier (Now You See Me, Fast X), who is bringing a unique, gritty vision to this psychological nightmare. Interestingly, Leterrier chose to shoot the first half of the film on 35mm film and relied heavily on practical effects, drawing heavy inspiration from Steven Spielberg’s classic early survival cinema.

Director’s Note: “THE LAST HOUSE challenges the idea of a safe haven, turning a family home into a hostile environment where survival demands unity,” Leterrier shared with Netflix’s Tudum.

With its terrifyingly claustrophobic concept, powerhouse cast, and retro cinematic textures, THE LAST HOUSE is quickly shaping up to be Netflix’s ultimate summer must-watch. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the trailer premiere tomorrow!
