SUSANNA Reid took a huge swipe at Katie Price and her husband Lee Andrews after his prison release and no-show on Good Morning Britain.

The ITV favourite, 55, who previously warned Katie about the self-styled businessman’s “lies”, spoke candidly on Wednesday’s episode.
Susanna‘s comments came after entertainment reporter Richard Arnold gave an update on Lee’s whereabouts following his time in Dubai’s notorious Al Awir jail.
Yesterday, Lee claimed he had been “captured at gunpoint” and “slapped around” during his ordeal before Katie saved him.
And when Richard recalled Lee’s words on GMB, before claiming that Katie Price told him backstage during her recent appearance that her upcoming Sky doc should have been eight parts instead of four because she “always brings the drama”, Susanna appeared hugely sceptical about the whole saga.
Keeping her arms crossed for much of the segment, Susanna then bluntly told her co-star: “I think my eyes just rolled out of my head”.
Viewers took to X to back the broadcaster and one put: “Susanna isn’t buying the Katie Price drama”.
A second posted: “Oh please. Agree with Susanna”.
A third then wrote: “Lee Andrews lying his t**s off. Black site??? P**s off”.
Last month Katie and Lee, who tied the knot in January, were due to appear on Good Morning Britain together – but Lee pulled out at the last minute.
At the time, GMB posts advertising the segment were hurriedly removed from the programme’s social media accounts after ITV staffers were told Lee would be unable to reach the UK.
Katie bravely appeared on the show solo, where Susanna issued a warning to the mum-of-five.
She asked Katie whether Lee was “unreliable” to which Katie responded: “Not to me.”
Susanna then turned to Katie and warned: “What I love about you Katie is that you’re very open, but I just wonder if he’s telling you everything.”
Katie responded by saying: “I know no one believes me, your face says it all.
“I can’t keep going to Dubai because I’ve got work and my kids here. He pays for it anyway but I can’t keep going to Dubai so he’s shifting over here. I said ‘I keep flying to you, you’ve got to come to England now.’”
Susanna interjected as Katie was talking, to add: “I worry…”
Since then, Lee’s disappearance captured the nation before he was banged up in Dubai.
He has been incarcerated for the past four weeks on suspicion of fraud – although he claimed he had been caged for spying.
The Sun revealed last week that Lee had been freed from jail and, prior to this, Katie, was joined by The Sun in Dubai previously on her hunt for her man.
Yesterday, Lee took to social media to give his take on his whereabouts.
Posting a video of himself on social media with a thicker-looking head of hair, Lee said: “Hi everyone, this is Lee. I’ve been missing now for several weeks. I can tell you I’m now safe and healthy and with my wife.
“I was taken close to the Hatta-Oman border by men at gunpoint and then I was captured by men with assault rifles.
“They did slap me around a little bit, little s***s, and I was hand-tied, shackled and also had a hood over my head.
“From there I was taken to a black site and I had no use of my phone and from what I know it was an extended arm of the National Guard and that’s all I can reveal at the moment.
“I have signed disclaimers now with state security and from there I was put into the system.
“At no point have I faced anything to do with fraud allegations or any criminal activities such as that.”
However, UAE officials debunked his claims he was in jail for spying and confirmed he has spent the past four weeks behind bars on suspicion of fraud.
Lee doubled down on his version of events and added: “So I’m sending these messages out to my loved ones and my beautiful wife, who without her help involving all the UK authorities, I don’t think I would have got out of that situation.
“Because of the tensions and things happening in the region, and me being so close to the border, this is why I was suspected of espionage and held in a state security building without the use of a telephone and any right to shower, contact or speak to any of my family, including the embassy or my wife.
“So thank you to Katie for making such a noise where the UAE actually listened and let me go.
“From there, I did have a civil case in Dubai, which led to me going into the mainstream prison during the Arabic holiday Eid and I was able to secure my release.
“I’m here now. So thank you for everyone for listening and loved blessings to everyone.”
