SIR Rod Stewart was forced to stop a concert to use an oxygen tank after nearly fainting on stage.

The 81-year-old rocker was performing his classic hit Young Turks in Utah on Friday night when he appeared to be unsteady on his feet.

In video footage shared online The Maggie May singer appears to be in pain and gasping for air.
As the song came to an end he summoned staff to bring the tank to him as he held onto a screen to stay upright.
An aide then runs on with the oxygen tank and places a mask over his face.
Two other staff come from behind the curtain and apply cold towels around his neck as he appeared to stumble.
After gasping oxygen and a short break Rod said: “The show must go on.
“I was trying to dance and nearly f****** fainted.”
After making a few jokes, he asked if the crowd would “mind” if he performed his next hit while sitting on steps on the stage, before finishing the show sitting in a chair.
Last month The Hot Legs hitmaker cancelled two gigs at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas at the last minute after a vocal rest order from doctors.
Earlier this month he announced that a few of his performances at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas would be rescheduled because his doctor had “ordered a bit more rest” as he recovered from the flu.
Days later, Stewart canceled four shows and postponed two more in Nevada and California after contracting laryngitis.
A statement on his Instagram Story at the time read: “Rod Stewart very regretfully has had to cancel his show tonight in Chula Vista, California.
“He travelled to the venue and made every effort to perform, but on the advice of his doctor, and following a diagnosis of an acute upper respiratory infection, that has resulted in laryngitis, he is unable to take the stage this evening.”
