LOVE ISLAND STARS BREAK SILENCE AFTER SHOCK DUMPING — AND FANS ARE STUNNED BY WHAT THEY DIDN’T SEE

Two more Islanders have been sent packing and they’ve spilled some interesting details about one fan favourite couple

One of Love Island’s most dramatic episodes yet aired on Friday night with two more Islanders sent home.

Last night’s episode (June 19) saw the four new bombshell arrivals given the chance to steal a boy or girl from an existing couple. It was not revealed until after the decisions were made that the Islanders left single would be dumped with immediate effect.

Lola and Sean have been in a couple since the very start

Newcomer Tina Rad chose to couple up with Aidan Murphy, while Halle Brown opted for Tommy Murphy after the pair shared a kiss. Meanwhile Chidi picked Mica Harris and Finley Maddock plumped for Ellie Chadwick.

The recoupling left OG Islander Sam Workman and bombshell Namibia Olpherts single and ousted from the show. Their shock exit left a sombre mood hanging over the villa, with a number of their co-stars left in tears.

The dumped pair have since broken their silence about their time on the ITV2 reality hit, and both had something to say about long-standing couple, Lola Deal and Sean Fitzgerald, and what they are really like to live with.

Lola and Sean have been in a couple since the very start of Series 13 and recently exchanged I love you’s in a particularly sweet moment. Lola also admitted via video link on companion show Aftersun that despite it being early days, she would “follow him [Sean] anywhere.”

“Do you know what I’ll move to Dublin I don’t mind, I’ll follow him anywhere,” she said.

Speaking with ITV after being dumped from the villa, Sam revealed that the couple were the main people he went to for advice, confessing: “I felt like I could go to them about anything.”

Discussing what the pair were really like in the villa, he revealed: “I think Lola and Fitzy [Sean] will stay together and I really hope they make it to the end. I think they deserve to win – they’re strong and everyone looks up to them and wants what they have. I certainly looked up to them and thought ‘I wish I had that connection with someone’. I definitely think they’ll be a strong couple on the outside.”

Meanwhile Namibia admitted that Sean was “was probably my closest male friend there”, and echoed Sam’s opinion that the couple will go the distance on the outside.

Love Island airs Sundays to Fridays at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
