Pete Wicks is set to return with a new season of For Dogs’ Sake, giving fans another chance to follow his work with rescue dogs and the teams who care for them.
The programme will be back for a fourth series, continuing its focus on the work of Dogs Trust and the stories behind the animals they help. As before, viewers can expect emotional moments, uplifting progress and a closer look at the people dedicated to giving dogs a better future.
This new chapter also brings something different. Alongside the main eight-part series, there will be a special two-part international edition. That means Pete will take the programme beyond the UK for the first time, meeting charity partners in other countries and seeing how rescue, care and rehoming efforts happen on a wider scale.
Speaking about the return, Pete described the series as something that feels especially close to him. He said being involved with Dogs Trust and helping share these stories is always meaningful, and he is particularly excited about the chance to explore the work being done overseas.
The show has continued to build a strong connection with viewers thanks to its warm, heartfelt storytelling and its focus on real-life change. Those behind the series have also spoken positively about its growth, highlighting how rewarding it has been to see the programme develop and to watch Pete continue in a role he clearly cares about.
Season four of Pete Wicks: For Dogs’ Sake is expected later in 2026, while the overseas special is due to follow in early 2027. For fans of Pete and for anyone who loves animal rescue stories, there is clearly plenty to look forward to.
