Lisa Faulkner has received an outpouring of support after sharing that she has been treated for early-stage breast cancer.
The TV presenter, actress and chef opened up to her followers on Instagram, explaining that the cancer was found after she attended a routine mammogram. Lisa said she has already had surgery and shared the reassuring news that doctors were able to remove it.
Although she still has radiotherapy ahead, Lisa’s update was filled with gratitude and relief. She explained that she is healing well and wanted to speak publicly because her experience could encourage others not to ignore screening appointments.
