Alex Reid Promises Candid Live Q&A as Interest in Katie Price’s Past Grows

Public interest in Katie Price’s romantic history has grown again following the release of her latest documentary, and one of her former husbands is now preparing to tell more of his own story.

Alex Reid has announced a one-night live event in Aldershot, Hampshire, where he plans to take questions about his career and personal life. Tickets for the VIP evening are listed at £43.

The former MMA fighter has described the event as his most open appearance yet, suggesting that the conversation will not follow a prepared script and that a wide range of subjects may be discussed.

Alongside his sporting career, the evening is expected to explore his experience on Celebrity Big Brother, his life as a father and some of the most widely discussed moments from his past.

Naturally, much of the curiosity surrounds his relationship with Katie.

Their romance developed quickly, with the couple marrying in Las Vegas in February 2010, around seven months after they began dating. The marriage lasted less than a year before they announced their separation, and their divorce was completed in March 2012.

Katie has since acknowledged that the relationship moved faster than it perhaps should have, saying in previous interviews that she married Alex too soon.

Interest in their time together has returned following Katie Price: Nothing To Hide. Alex features in the documentary and offers a candid account of how he felt during their marriage.

The programme also revisits other relationships from Katie’s past, including her time with singer Dane Bowers, adding to the wider conversation surrounding the highs and disappointments of her personal life.

One subject that attracted considerable attention after Katie and Alex separated involved his Roxanne persona and the different ways each of them remembered its public introduction.

Reports at the time suggested Katie believed the issue had affected their marriage, while Alex maintained that she had encouraged him to share that part of his personality more openly. Their conflicting accounts later became part of an increasingly public disagreement between the former couple.

Tensions continued after the divorce, and their disputes occasionally returned to the headlines. A widely reported legal case concluded in 2019 with Katie being ordered to cover £140,000 in Alex’s legal costs in connection with allegations involving private material.

Alex’s upcoming appearance may give him an opportunity to reflect on those years in his own words. However, it remains unclear how much of the former marriage he will actually choose to revisit.

For now, his promise of an honest and unscripted conversation has certainly created curiosity among followers of one of Britain’s most closely watched celebrity relationships.
