JESSIE J managed to keep her split from boyfriend of four years Chanan Colman under wraps — before finally revealing their separation.
Earlier today, the singer took to Instagram to share the news with fans and revealed they broke up “some time ago.”
The 38-year-old explained they’d been navigating the “sad and difficult” situation privately.
Prior to announcing her and Chanan’s split, the singer had been posting upbeat social media content from her latest tour – which saw her in California.
She also posted a tribute to Chanan on Father’s Day, describing him as the “most magical Dad” to Sky.
There seemed to be no signs of issues in spring of last year, when Jessie discussed the possibility of tying the knot.
She told People: “We talk about it all the time, and we laugh about it all the time, and I’m sure we will, but we’re not in any rush.
“I’ve always said that I’m not too fussed about getting married, and some people get really funny about that, but it’s my own preference.”
Despite the end of their romantic relationship, the hitmaker and her ex Chanan have been building a “happy co-parenting environment” for Sky.
Upon revealing the update, she shared a sweet snap of her little family, wearing matching jackets with the words “Mummy,” “Daddy” and “Sky” emblazoned on the backs.
Jessie and Chanan’s split comes just two months after the Price Tag singer confirmed she was cancer-free after a battle with breast cancer.
The British star, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, revealed that she “sobbed for hours” after getting her cancer-free MRI result.
Jessie was diagnosed with ‘early stage’ breast cancer in June 2025 and she underwent surgery later that month.
The Sun revealed Jessie first began dating former basketball player Chanan back in 2021 after meeting on celeb dating app Raya.
They welcomed their sun Sky, three, in May 2023.
