VIRGIN River star Sarah Dugdale has announced she is engaged to actor Richard Harmon.
The Canadian actress, who plays Lizzie in the hit show, shared the happy news on social media after Richard popped the question.
Sarah, 31, took to Instagram to post a picture showing off her engagement ring alongside the caption: “Forever date your mate.”
The couple have known each other for more than a decade, having both appeared in the 2015 horror flick The Hollow.
They were friends for years before their relationship turned romantic and made things Instagram official in April 2024.
The loved-up pair regularly share sweet updates about their relationship with fans.

In August 2025, Sarah called Richard her “favourite person” and “my sweet menace”.
She added: “Anything with you sounds like a good time to me. I love you.”
Then in December, the TV star declared she “couldn’t be happier” in another loved-up post dedicated to Richard.
Sarah is best known for playing Lizzie in hit Netflix drama Virgin River, which first aired in 2019.
The show has since become the streaming giant’s longest-running live-action scripted series.
Richard, 34, is best known for playing John Murphy in sci-fi drama The 100 and starred as Erik Campbell in 2025 horror sequel Final Destination: Bloodlines.
Sarah supported him at the film’s Hollywood premiere last year and shared how much it meant to watch “the love of your life” on the big screen.
