Adam Peaty is reportedly fearing yet more family backlash as the feud rumbles on months after he failed to invite his parents to his wedding to Holly Ramsay
Adam Peaty is said to be fearing his family is readying themselves to drop yet another bombshell following that recent feuds. The Olympic swimmer and his family dramatically fell out before he tied the knot with Holly Ramsay.
And it’s claimed the sports star is concerned tensions with his mum, Caroline, are continuing to overshadow his career and home life. As he gets ready to become a dad again – and also become the first Team England swimmer to win four consecutive Commonwealth gold medals – Adam is said to worry his parents could be about to reveal more of their drama.
“Sadly, nothing ever seems to be quiet for Adam and Holly,” a source has said.
It comes as Bethany – Adam’s only relative at his wedding at Bath Abbey on December 27 – is reportedly no longer on speaking terms with her brother’s wife.

Speaking to The Sun, the insider added: “This could be a career-defining moment for Adam, but there’s always the looming possibility that someone from his extended family will try to detonate another bomb.
“They announced their pregnancy last month and, days later, his sister Bethany was stirring things up and claiming she’s at loggerheads with Holly. It’s becoming relentless.”
They source said the wedding woes with Adam and his family were “acutely painful” and said it appears as though there are “troublemakers” in the Olympians family.
They said that the drama is not something Adam and Holly want and say all he is gunning for is the win in the pool. And he will have his wife by his side – and on his cap as he guns for glory.
Holly shared a snap to her Instagram Stories of Adam in the new swimming cap. She captioned the upload: “So Special.” The image showed his new double barrelled surname.
Adam has since conceded he and Holly have not handled the “noise” surrounding their romance as well as they could have. But ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, he revealed he just wants everyone to focus on his exploits in the pool, declaring: “That’s the Adam people should see – the racer. Everything else is my private life.”
He told The Independent: “Pressure can be given to anyone, but it’s probably best in my hands because the more pressure I’m under, the better I perform.
“At the same time, you need a strategy for managing the noise and we probably haven’t done that as well as we could, but I’ll make sure the swimming does the talking.
“We can’t control every variable in life, but I can stand behind the blocks and not really care about what people’s opinions are. Being at peace with a 100m or 50m breaststroke race is a beautiful place to be.
