ITV Emmerdale actor Michael Parr has welcomed his first child after his partner Isabelle Du Plessis gave birth to their baby daughter.
The 39-year-old star, known for portraying Ross Barton on the ITV drama, and his girlfriend shared the exciting news along with their little one’s gender and name through a touching Instagram post on Saturday (September 20).
Posting a collection of heartfelt photographs, Isabelle declared, “Welcome to the world, Suzie Rose Parr.”
One precious image shows the delighted father cradling his sleeping daughter tenderly in his embrace.
Another beautiful photograph captures Isabelle holding her newborn whilst resting in her hospital bed, radiating joy with a tender smile for the camera, reports the Daily Star.

Mike is then pictured transporting his precious daughter from the hospital in her car seat as the family begins their exciting parenting adventure.
The beaming father is also shown presenting his new treasure to the family pet, grinning warmly at their dog whilst gently holding Suzie Rose.
Emmerdale colleagues flocked to the comments to offer their congratulations to Mike and Isabelle.

Georgia Jay, who portrays Steph Miligan, penned: “Beautiful girl! Beautiful family! ! So so many congratulations!”.
Bradley Riches, playing Ross’ television sibling Lewis Barton, declared: “Love you! X.”
Meanwhile, Amelia Flanagan, known as April Windsor, shared a series of love heart emojis.
Mike originally portrayed Ross between 2013 and his exit in late 2018. Last year, the actor revealed he would be making a comeback to our screens, reprising his role as Ross in a bare-knuckle fight against Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle).
In May, Mike and Isabelle thrilled fans with the news that they were expecting a baby later in the year.
The loved-up pair shared several snaps of themselves looking blissful on a beach. They penned a message in the sand announcing their impending parenthood, writing: “MJP IDP Soon 2 B 3.”
At the time, the couple captioned the photos: “In our Mum and Dad Era” alongside a baby chicken emoji and a chick in an egg emoji.
