Penny shared a heartfelt moment from their adventure on Instagram, posting a glamorous shot of the pair in front of the luxury train, captioned: “Entering a bygone era from Paris where we got engaged to Portofino where we got married 18 years ago – it’s totally magical.”
Following their original 2007 wedding, the couple had honeymooned on the Lady Ann Magee yacht. This year, their romantic throwback holiday was a nod to that beginning.
Rod, a father of eight with five different women, was recently honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Music Awards. During the ceremony, five of his children — Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renee, and Liam — surprised him on stage. Overwhelmed, Rod exclaimed with an emotional F-bomb that was later edited out from the CBS broadcast.
Adding to the celebration, Kimberly, 45, announced earlier this year that she is expecting a baby boy, Rod’s fifth grandchild. She is already mum to 13-year-old Delilah Genoveva, shared with actor Benicio del Toro.
