CELEBRITY Traitors fans are begging TV bosses to bring back Alan Carr’s axed chat show after his incredible win.

The comedian’s Chatty Man programme was axed in 2016 after 16 series as its ratings of 2m paled compared to the 3.9m tuning in to the BBC‘s Graham Norton.

But with renewed interest in the popular star, fans feel the time is right to give Alan his own talk show once again.

One wrote on X: “Alan Carr is a national treasure. Bring back chatty man. Give him a gig on strictly. Make him prime minister. Idc I just need more Alan.”

Another said: “Now bring back Chatty Man immediately.”

A third urged: “Just bring back Chatty Man once and for all. Alan Carr is just hysterical and pretty much a national treasure.”

Alan, 49, was previously candid about his show’s fortunes, insisting he’d taken it as far as he could.

He said at the time: “I just think that the art of the chat show has evolved unless you can get the amazing guests all the time that Norton gets.

“I’ll be honest with you, I don’t think moving it to a Thursday was the best move. It feels like a party show, a Friday show.

“Three guests a week and Channel 4, God love ’em, extended it to 30 episodes — that’s 90 guests who are relevant and people are interested in, up against the amazing Norton and Jonathan Ross.

“I’ve gone as far as I can with Chatty Man. Won a BAFTA, won two NTAs.”

Last night BBC viewers watched Alan break down in tears as he triumphed over David Olusoga and Nick Mohammed.

The sole remaining traitor, he convinced his co-stars he was a faithful and won £87,500 for his chosen charity.

Previously eliminated Celebrity Traitors stars watched through their fingers at a viewing party with the likes of Paloma Faith and Charlotte Church screaming as the finalists did their best to work out each other’s identities.

Ahead of the final, Alan was a 6/1 outsider with bookies, but he triumphed in front of an audience of 10m.

He’s now tipped to make a fortune off his win.

A source said: “Alan has always been incredibly popular but after The Celebrity Traitors he is now the hottest property in TV and top of every booker’s wishlist.

“He’s already doing well financially but could see his earnings double with the influx of work. Brands are banging down the door to work with him and are prepared to shell out six-figure sums.Alan Carr in a leopard print jacket, sitting on an ornate gold throne.
