She was lucky enough to attend the film’s premiere during its press tour, and said the film really did “change her for good” as she continues day by day to battle her own grief.

Towards the end of the interview, emotions ran high and conversation got personal as Sheinelle told the leading ladies how the film helped her feel strong amid grieving the loss of her husband, Uche Ojeh.

Uche passed away earlier this year after battling an aggressive form of brain cancer.

“You guys both know that I am grieving, right, and I carry two things with me everywhere I go,” Sheinelle said to the intently listening pair of singing icons.

“I move forward, but I’m also grieving.

“And when I went into the theater to screen this movie, it was transcendent for me in a way that I didn’t know I needed.

“To see these characters be strong, and brave, and vulnerable.

“And I’m sitting there thinking, okay if these women can do this on stage or on the screen so can I, in my own way.

“I can be strong, and courageous, and brave, and not just your characters but who you are as women in real life.”

By the end of Sheinelle’s sentences, Ariana was seen visibly holding back tears.

The pop superstar then thanked Sheinelle for her kind words, and told her she loves her.

“Well, thank you. We love you and you are all of those things.”

The women then embraced: a touching moment for the trio.

Ariana lost a close loved one back in 2018 that has frequently seen her reduced to tears in public – ex boyfriend Mac Miller.

He passed away at the young age of 26 after an accidental overdose of cocaine, fentanyl and alcohol at his home in Studio City.

Just one year prior Ari experienced another unimaginable tragedy – a bombing that took place at her concert in Manchester.

22 people were tragically killed at the event with many more injured and completely traumatized.

The star hasn’t toured in a long time, with her upcoming Eternal Sunshine tour for 2025-2026 being in huge demand.
