
Actress Rebecca Ryan has announced the birth of her second child. The former Coronation Street star was known for playing the part of Lydia Chambers on the Cobbles in 2021.
Despite only having a short stint on the ITV soap, Rebecca was quickly involved in major storylines. Her main storyline was her onscreen counterpart becoming pregnant with Adam Barlowâs child, Sarah Barlowâs husband.
As well a role on Coronation Street, Rebecca has appeared elsewhere on TV including hit shows Waterloo Road, Casualty and Shameless. Away from screen, the actress married partner Dan Acraman in September 2022.
Her second child will be welcomed into Rebeccaâs growing family â which already includes her talented soap actor brother. Fans were stunned to learn that Rebecca and Jack James Ryan were siblings when she joined the ITV soap 10 months after he started playing Jacob on the show.
Rebecca and Dan welcomed their first child, a daughter named Aurora in April 2023 and have now welcomed their second child. In a post uploaded to Instagram, Rebecca shared a picture of her baby sleeping on top of a pink blanket.
The post was captioned âIntroducing the newest member of my little girl gang, the adorable Oriana.â Messages of congratulations and love were left by fans and friends.

Brother of Rebecca and Coronation Street actor Jack James Ryan commented âProof that the first time wasnât a fluke, you make the most beautiful babiesâ and Abi Webster actress Sally Carman responded âSheâs beautiful! Congratulations to you both!â
Former Emmerdale actress Charley Webb wrote âAnother beauty and I love the nameâ, while Corrieâs Elle Mulvaney said âcongratulations she is beautiful.â
Fans of Rebecca were also among the supportive commenters. Cait wrote âCongratulations to you all. Such a beautiful name for a perfect little princess. Yourâe amazing.â
