The 39-year-old shared an emotional video to her social media on Monday evening. Sian shares her daughter with fiancé Jake Beckett, who he is often seen out and about with.

Sian tends to post her most exciting jobs on her Instagram page which includes appearing on This Morning and hosting Capital Breakfast. However, she said that it is “really hard” to be a mum and also have a successful career.

Sian said that most of the time she is just trying to “to survive the day” and is left wondering if she is a “bad mum” as she tries to balance her work and home life.

In the clip she said that she has had a “really tough few weeks of parenting” and wanted to show her fans the reality of being a parent and working full time.

Sian said: “Hiya, Just a quick one from me because I know I’ve got a lot of parents that follow me and I’m starting to feel guilt because I get a lot of DMs saying, ‘Oh Sian how are you doing it?’ The early mornings, red carpet, celebrities and that kind of thing.

“I’m scared that it reflects something that isn’t real life because my Instagram looks so glossy and showbiz and yet the truth of it is some days I am absolute rock bottom, cold in a corner wondering how I’m going to survive the next day, wondering how I’m going to go into work and I just don’t want to add to any parenting pressure.

“I don’t want my timeline to look like something that you should be trying to achieve when I’m not even achieving it I’m literally using my Instagram to show you all my professional work, almost like a CV but I’m not showing you the full picture.

“I’m not showing you the, you know 48hours of no sleep and the A&E trips and then the missive work commitments and then choosing, is it work or is it childcare, am I a good mum, I’m a bad mum, what am I doing!”

She added: “You know and I’m feeling like this all the time and I’m torn and I am struggling and I’m not getting it right every time and there are some days when I’m hanging by a thread.”

Sian went on to explain that “everyone’s situation is different” and her social media portrays the most positive parts of her life and work.

She continued: “I’m not saying this to get any sort of pity I’m just saying it so you know what your seeing on Instagram is obviously isn’t like the full story and isn’t achievable.

“Please don’t think whatever you’re doing isn’t enough or that I’m somehow I’ve got the cheat codes to parenting because I really haven’t, like some days I’m just about surviving and there’s days when I genuinely think how am I going to do it and I think we all just do and when you’re in it you don’t think about it you just do it because that’s all you can do.

“Everyone’s situation is different, everyone has you know commitments they have got to do and you have to keep trying to make the right decisions all the time.”

Sian concluded the video by saying: “But you know I’ve had a really tough few weeks of parenting and maybe that’s not been reflected on here and on the radio then you might think its a breeze but I just wanted to be real with you all and it has been really hard.”
