This week she pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention after the case went to court.

Insiders said Holly has now enlisted a dealer to help sell the £25,000 Mini Cooper.

A source said: “Holly was absolutely devastated that she’d caused this accident.

“She wants to get rid of the Mini now and has got a dealer to come and sell it for her.

“The faster she can get it off her drive and gone for good the better. Holly wants a fresh start and doesn’t feel right driving the car again after what has happened.

“It really has shaken her up.

“She was so upset by the accident and did everything she could to help the man.

“Now she just wants to move on and get rid of the Mini.”

Second-hand Mini Coopers, which match the specification of Holly’s car, can fetch up to £13,000.

Lavender Hill magistrates’ court heard how Holly caused the crash by turning right without indicating.

A rider on a white scooter was overtaking her at the time at around 20mph.

He hit her front wing and was sent crashing to the ground in August near Holly’s home in Richmond, South West London.

He suffered a neck fracture and a broken toe.

Holly was fined £2,444, including costs, and got six points on her licence.

Aisling Byrnes, defending Holly, said the mother of three suffered a “momentary lapse in judgement”.

She added: “She is extremely remorseful. She left her vehicle and went straight to the driver of the moped and offered him water and her phone and remained at the scene until the officers arrived.

“She admitted guilt at the scene and pleaded guilty via post as soon as she got the form.”

It comes after a tough few years for Holly.

She left This Morning in 2023 after her long-term co-presenter Phillip Schofield departed following an affair he had with a much younger employee.

Last year, Gavin Plumb, 37, was found guilty of plotting to kidnap, rape, and murder Holly and was jailed for life with a minimum of 16 years.
