Ozzy Osbourne‘s grandson will be a mascot when his beloved Aston Villa play at Christmas – five months after his tragic death.
Black Sabbath legend Ozzy died of heart failure at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22, just two weeks after performing a farewell concert with his bandmates at Birmingham‘s Villa Park.
Ozzy was a lifelong fan of Aston Villa Football Club, having grown up in the Aston area near the stadium.
And now his daughter Kelly has revealed that her son Sidney, three, – who she shares with fiancé Sid Wilson – will walk onto the pitch with the team when they play Manchester United on December 21.
Kelly, 41, said she is going to invite Manchester United fan AngryGinge to the match too – after the YouTuber formed a strong friendship with her brother Jack on I’m A Celeb.
She told The Mirror: ‘I’m going to message Angry Ginge because there’s a football match going on on the 21st with Villa and Man Utd – my son’s going to be the mascot. So I was going to see if he wanted to go.’

It comes after this week Kelly responded to trolls who have criticised her extreme weight loss in recent times.
The star, who is struggling with the death of her father Ozzy, called out people for saying she ‘looks ill’ and should ‘get off Ozempic’ in a passionate clip.
Kelly has previously been open about her 85lb postpartum weight loss and denied using jabs to help her shed the weight.
On Tuesday, the star also showed her slender frame while attending the launch of Juliet Sear’s new signature bakeware collection at Fortnum & Mason.
On social media Kelly said in a video on Wednesday: ‘To the people who keep thinking they’re being funny and mean by writing comments like are you ill or get off Ozempic, you don’t look right.
‘My dad just died, and I’m doing the best that I can, and the only thing I have to live for right now is my family. And I choose to share my content with you and share the happy side of my life not the miserable side of my life.
‘So to all those people ‘f**k off.”
Her mother Sharon broke her silence on Kelly’s weight loss in her Piers Morgan Uncensored interview this week – insisting she’s struggled to eat in the wake of her father Ozzy’s death.

Sharon said: ‘She’s right. She’s not happy, she’s lost her daddy, she can’t eat right now.’
Detailing the impact the trolling has had on her family, Sharon added: ‘It’s a shield for people that are unhappy.
‘It’s a shield and jealousy and people’s perception of somebody else… And I just feel sorry for people, you know, something wrong with their lives. They’re not happy.’
Kelly has previously been open about her incredible 85lb postpartum weight loss and denied using Ozempic to help her shed the weight.
She revealed she ‘rapidly’ lost the weight by cutting out ‘sugar and carbohydrates’ and not by using Hollywood’s favourite weight-loss drug.
Kelly first addressed her weight loss in April last year, when she revealed she ‘doesn’t know where it came from’ that she had used Ozempic.
She told Extra: ‘I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic. I don’t know where that came from. My mum took Ozempic.’
The star also explained that her weight loss was prompted after she developed gestational diabetes during pregnancy.
‘I had gestational diabetes, and I had to lose the weight that I had gained during pregnancy, otherwise I was at a higher risk of actually getting diabetes, which I did not want.
‘I cut out sugar and carbohydrates and I rapidly lost weight.’
During the interview, Sharon also revealed Ozzy’s poignant final ever words to her as she recounted the heartbreaking details from the day he died for the first time.
She told how on the fateful day he had woken at 4am and just 20 minutes later he was dead.
Sharon was left screaming after finding him slumped over in the gym at their house after he had decided to have an early morning workout despite his ill health at the time – including previous battles with pneumonia and sepsis.
After she heard yelling she ran to the gym – where he normally used a cross-trainer for up to 90 minutes a day.
Sharon said in the interview: ‘He had a heart attack. I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I’m like, ‘Don’t — just leave him. Leave him. You can’t. He’s gone.’
‘I knew instantly he’d gone. And they tried and tried, and then they took him by helicopter to the hospital and they tried, and it’s like, ‘He’s gone. Just leave him.”
Before he had headed to the gym Sharon said he had been up and down all night in the bathroom and when it was around 4.30am he said to her ‘wake up’ before she told him that he had already actually woken her up.

Then she said he told her: ‘Kiss me. Hug me tight.’
He then went downstairs to the gym for his workout and within 20 minutes he was gone.
In the chat she also told how Ozzy knew that he was near the end of his life and that a doctor had told him if he did his planned final show he ‘wouldn’t get through it’ – but he insisted on going ahead anyway.
She also insisted she will never get married again after the loss, tearfully saying: ‘That’s it for now.’
