The already-fractured relationship within the Beckham family appears to have taken its most dramatic turn yet — and this time, the spark was as unexpected as a simple Instagram “like”.
As Christmas week began, insiders revealed that Brooklyn Beckham had blocked his entire family on Instagram, including his parents David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, as well as siblings Romeo, Cruz and even 14-year-old Harper.

The final straw, according to sources, came after Victoria liked one of Brooklyn’s cooking tutorial videos — a clip showing him preparing a roast chicken. What might have seemed like a harmless show of maternal support quickly snowballed, with followers flooding the comments urging Brooklyn to reconcile with his family. Messages such as “Family is everything” and “Call your parents before it’s too late” reportedly left the influencer furious.
It is understood Brooklyn felt overwhelmed and irritated by the public pressure sparked by his mother’s visible interaction, prompting him to take drastic action by blocking every member of the Beckham clan.

While the fallout intensified online, Victoria appeared determined not to let the situation derail her festive spirit. She was filmed celebrating with colleagues from her beauty brand, joking in a video captioned: “It’s a tough job being me, but someone’s gotta do it!”
Hours later, Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz — who also no longer follows the Beckhams — shared her own family-focused post, wishing followers a happy Hanukkah alongside her billionaire father Nelson Peltz.
Brooklyn is now expected to spend Christmas in the US with Nicola’s family, rather than joining the Beckhams at their Cotswolds home. Friends of David and Victoria insist the couple were “devastated” by the move and would “never stop loving their son”, but admit the Instagram block feels like a clear signal that communication has completely broken down.
What began with a single “like” has now become the most public and painful chapter yet in one of Britain’s most closely watched family feuds.
