Sir Rod Stewart has taken to Instagram to share a rare and rather exasperated clip explaining the torrid time he’s experiencing thanks to his beloved Celtic FC.
The Scottish footballing giants have caused Sir Rod to experience sleepless nights and feelings of “humiliation” thanks to a series of underwhelming performances on the pitch.
And following Tuesday’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Motherwell, Sir Rod decided enough was enough as he took to Instagram to vent his frustrations.
“I didn’t sleep last night, and I’ll tell you why,” Sir Rod began in a rather sombre speech directly to the camera from his gym.

Gesturing to the green and white memorabilia hoisted in his gym, Sir Rod went on: “We were beaten — Celtic, that is, and I love the Celtic, as you can see – by a very, very good Motherwell team who play, in my opinion, very modern, advanced football.
“They just kept attacking and attacking, and it was made easy by our backline that didn’t seem to exist.
“We were humiliated — really humiliated. Now, where is this all going to end?” he pondered, turning his attention to the team’s manager, Wilfried Nancy.
The Frenchman has endured a chaotic start to life in Glasgow, and things aren’t exactly going to get easier as Celtic’s next match is the Old Firm Derby against Rangers on January 3.

Sir Rod asked: “Is Nancy going to go? Is he going to be sacked, like Russell Martin, maybe? Or is he going to continue, and we’re going to keep losing?
“He has now won two games out of seven, and apparently, the worst manager we’ve ever had was sacked after eight losses in 29 games.
“John Barnes. Over six months. Eight losses, 29 games in six months, and then he was fired.”
The singer continued: “It looks like this guy’s going to continue, so it breaks my heart. Should we give him a chance in January? I don’t know, but it looks like he’s going to stay.”
