Coleen Rooney’s Caribbean getaway looked like pure paradise — but behind the champagne flutes and yacht selfies was a deeply personal moment she carries with her every year.
The 39-year-old I’m A Celebrity star spent the weekend sailing off the coast of Barbados with husband Wayne and their four sons, soaking up the sunshine in a striking leopard-print bikini while watching her boys dive, snorkel and tear across the waves on jet skis.
Friends of the family, including Wayne’s former teammates, were also along for the ride, turning the boat into a floating reunion — yet it was Coleen who drew every eye as she confidently embraced the sun while others retreated to the shade.

Also on the lavish holiday was her husband Wayne, 40, and their four sons Kai, 16, Klay, 11, Kit, eight, and Cass, six
The Rooneys return to the island year after year and split their time between ocean days and their luxury five-bedroom villa — a holiday home they purchased over a decade ago and rent out when not in residence.
But this trip wasn’t only about relaxation.
Amid the laughter and sea spray, Coleen quietly marked the anniversary of her beloved sister Rosie, who died aged just 14 after a lifelong battle with Rett syndrome. Posting a tender tribute online, she wrote that another year had passed without her — and that Rosie continues to watch over them.
Rosie passed away following her lifelong battle with Rett syndrome, a rare brain disorder that causes severe disabilities Rosie was taken in as a foster child by Coleen’s parents Tony and Colette, when she was two (Rosie, Coleen, Colette and Tony pictured in 2008)
It’s a memory that never leaves her, even on the brightest of days.
Those close to Coleen say the holiday is as much about togetherness as escape — a chance for her to hold her family a little closer, especially after an emotionally heavy year.
As her sons played in the water and Wayne chatted with friends on deck, Coleen was seen snapping pictures, clutching a glass of wine and smiling through the moment — a snapshot of a woman balancing joy, grief and gratitude in the same breath.
In the glow of the Barbados sun, Coleen Rooney wasn’t just taking a break — she was celebrating life, family and the sister she will never forget.
