Jack P Shepherd’s Heartwarming Love Story with Fiancée Hanni Treweek as Their Wedding Day Nears
Jack P Shepherd is preparing for a new chapter — swapping the Celebrity Big Brother house for wedding vows as he gets ready to marry his longtime love, Hanni Treweek, this summer.
The Coronation Street star, who has been a fixture on the iconic soap for 25 years, first met Hanni behind the scenes, where she worked as a storyline writer and researcher. Although they met at work, their romance blossomed at a mutual friend’s wedding in 2017. Jack fondly recalled: “We got chatting, I made Hanni laugh, we had a couple of drinks, and we flirted — that was it.”
By January 2018, they had gone public with their relationship, with Jack describing Hanni as his “soulmate” in an interview with OK! Magazine. The couple openly discussed future plans, including marriage and starting a family, with Hanni sharing: “I think we fell quite quickly. We just clicked and realized we were on the same page.”
In June 2024, after six years together, Jack proposed during a romantic safari trip to Tanzania. Hanni later shared the news with her followers on Instagram, writing: “05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!”
By October 2024, the couple had set their wedding date, excitedly planning to tie the knot in the summer of 2025.
Throughout Jack’s time in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Hanni has been vocal about how much she misses him, appearing on ITV’s Lorraine to talk about their relationship and share updates on wedding preparations. “It’s already out there that we’re getting married in July — we’ve got so much to look forward to!” she gushed.
Speaking about Jack’s reserved demeanor inside the Big Brother house, Hanni explained: “He’s getting more comfortable now. Maybe as the house gets smaller, he’ll open up even more.”
Despite missing him, Hanni kept her spirits high, joking with Coronation Street co-star Nicola Thorp about having to constantly travel between Manchester and London to support Jack: “I can’t go down to London again! I need some breathing space — we need to manifest that he’s not up for eviction!” she laughed.
Last night, Hanni appeared on Big Brother’s Late and Live, confirming she’ll be in London tonight to greet Jack as he leaves the house — just in time for the final preparations for their much-anticipated wedding.
