Katie Price undergoes more cosmetic treatment after worried mum’s desperate plea
Katie Price went under the surgeon’s knife to address her ‘deflated balloon’ bottom shortly after her worried mum said she looked ‘shocking’ and ‘too thin’
Katie Price has gone under the surgeon’s knife again, just minutes after being told by her worried mum she looked “too thin”. The former glamour model was filming a YouTube video of her latest surgery when she received the message from her 73-year-old mum, Amy, who also asked if she was “using a pen”, referring to weight loss injections.
The mum of five has sparked concern in recent months with her visibly shrinking frame, and while she admitted in the new vlog she has lost weight, she insisted it was because she was “more active again and healthier”. The comments were “driving her mad”, she added, because “I am healthy and I do eat. If you look at old, old pictures of me, even in the Jordan days, I was always skinny.”
Katie recorded the vlog from a UK clinic as she underwent an op to “bring life to her bum” with 500ml of filler. “I am not looking at my bum any more looking like a deflated balloon,” she told viewers.
“Where I’ve lost weight, and when you lose weight, you lose it everywhere, and I seem to have lost it on my butt. So everyone else is like, ‘no, it’s fine, it’s fine’, but it’s not. I promise you it’s not.”
She also addressed the criticism of her repeated surgeries, saying, “Damn what anyone says, they’re not me. I am me. And I will do what I want to myself.”
Katie, who also spoke about her intense fear of needles, received the text from her mum just minutes before prepping for her surgery. Reading the message aloud, she said: “Kate, you are too thin. You look shocking. Are you using a pen? You are ill.” The former glamour model then sent a voicenote back, saying she gets told “every week” that she looks “too thin”.
“No, I’m not using any pen, but from next week my bum will be bigger so they might say I’m more curvy,” she responded. “Yes, I’m sorting my ar*se out so I expect the next message from you will be ‘Oh you’re so stupid’”.
She also defended some of her previous trips to cosmetic surgery clinics in Turkey, saying, “You’re always going to hear horror stories wherever you go… what annoys me is you always hear about the things that have gone wrong.”
“So yeah, you just always hear about where women or men have had procedures, and they might have got an infection or their body might reject… people have to remember that it can happen to anyone.”
She continued, “It’s happened to me in my boobs loads of times where it’s rejected it, then I’ve had to have my implant out but I’ve still gone back to the same person because it’s not them that have done that, it’s just how your body reacts to things.”
She said she expected to be “sore for a couple of days”, but planned to take it easy and record her podcast this week from her bed, and would lie on her front to help her buttocks heal.
Katie also took to Instagram to reveal she’d had more filler injected into her face, as well as new eyebrows and lip blush which left her feeling as though she was the “old” Katie, at the height of her Jordan fame.
