Perrie Edwards has shared her happiest news yet, revealing that she and fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have welcomed a baby girl.
The Little Mix star, 32, announced the arrival on Instagram with a tender photo and confirmed their daughter’s name as Alanis Valentine. The couple, who got engaged in 2022 after five years together, are already parents to four-year-old son Axel.

Perrie’s post was instantly flooded with love from fans and famous friends, including bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who called the newborn a “perfect little angel.”
The joyful announcement comes after an emotionally difficult journey for the singer. In recent interviews, Perrie spoke candidly about enduring two miscarriages before welcoming Alanis, including a devastating loss at 24 weeks which she described as “the worst day of my life.”
Reflecting on her first pregnancy loss, Perrie previously shared that it happened very early on, leaving her confused and heartbroken after being told at hospital that there was no baby. She later described Axel as her “rainbow baby” and admitted she felt constantly on edge throughout that pregnancy, desperate to pass each scan milestone.

Opening up about the later miscarriage, Perrie recalled sensing something was wrong during a scan and said everything felt as though it was happening in slow motion. Returning home from hospital, she described being utterly distraught, adding that her body was still preparing for a baby that was no longer there.
Despite the trauma, Perrie has repeatedly praised Alex for standing by her side throughout the ordeal, admitting he was deeply affected too but focused on staying strong for her. Alex has also spoken publicly about how long it took for them to feel emotionally ready to try again.

Their baby joy was first revealed in September, when the couple announced the pregnancy with a black-and-white video of Axel kissing Perrie’s growing bump. Now, with Alanis Valentine safely in their arms, fans have hailed the arrival as a powerful moment of hope after unimaginable loss.
