The ITV thriller came to an end as the fate of Liam Barlow (Kieron Moore) and Braden Moore (Joe Absolom) was finally revealed in the final episode

The ITV series Code of Silence concluded with a dramatic finale, revealing the fate of characters Liam Barlow (portrayed by Kieron Moore) and Braden Moore (Joe Absolom). The final episode kicked off with the shocking revelation that Liam had intended to abscond alone with the necklace from the start.
Ben Lawford (Nathan Armarkwei), recovering from surgery after being shot, was keen to ensure his sacrifice wasn’t “for nothing”, as were his fellow officers. They requested Alison to send a message to Liam in hopes of tracking him down, while Alison and her mother were relocated to a safe house.
Braden, who had been evading capture, was taken aback to learn that Liam had double-crossed him. Meanwhile, Helen Redman (Beth Goddard) and Joseph Holhurst (Andrew Scarborough) were summoned for questioning.

Regrettably for the team, Helen maintained the upper hand, alleging that the entire heist was orchestrated by Liam and Braden.
In a surprising twist, it was revealed that Liam had altered his surname since his time in foster care. DI James Marsh uncovered that Charlie, the man killed in the previous heist, was actually Liam’s foster father, whom he held in high regard, reports Wales Online.

It emerged that Liam had stolen the necklace out of vengeance, desiring retribution against Braden and Helen.
Liam arranged a rendezvous with Alison, proposing they elope together. However, Alison wanted him to testify against Helen and Joseph.
Liam, who was keen to avoid a long stint in prison, found himself unable to contact the police.
Following their encounter, Alison returned to the Canterbury Tap where she bumped into Braden.
In an attempt to entice Liam back with the necklace, Braden held Alison captive in a warehouse.
Before surrendering the necklace to Braden, Liam paid a visit to his foster mum to bid her farewell, believing he would have to spend his life on the run.
He handed over the necklace to Helen in exchange for Alison’s freedom, but, in an unexpected turn of events, he had also alerted the police.

While Braden held Liam at gunpoint, Liam cleverly used sign language to instruct Alison ‘police, go’ instead of ‘please go’, alerting her to the imminent arrival of the police.
Alison was stunned that Liam had sacrificed himself for her, and on the day of his court hearing, he revealed that he was continuing to learn British Sign Language.
He admitted guilt to conspiracy to rob, while Braden and Helen were also apprehended for their involvement. Joseph was nicked after being charged with money laundering.
As for Alison, she and her mum relocated to a new flat for a fresh start, and James surprised her with a £50,000 reward for her assistance. He urged her to invest some of it in a forensic lip reading course, assuring her that she would be a highly sought-after asset.
