ALYSSA Farah Griffin has welcomed a baby boy.
The View co-host also revealed her son’s name, and the sweet meaning behind it.
“Our ‘View’ family just got bigger!” the panel show shared on social media.
“We’re thrilled to share that @AlyssaFarah Griffin and her husband, Justin, have welcomed their new baby, Justin Patrick Griffin Jr.
“Both mom and baby are doing well, and we can’t wait to meet this little boy!”
Alyssa added: “He’s the most beautiful little boy I’ve ever seen.”
The daytime TV star, 36, announced in October that she was expecting her first child after undergoing five rounds of IVF.
Alyssa shared that Justin Jr. was born late Tuesday night.
“Justin Patrick Griffin Jr. arrived late last night,” the new mom posted.
“We’re overjoyed and grateful for all the well wishes!”
The View hosts announced the birth during Wednesday’s episode.
“The first thing we want to do is start by congratulating Alyssa and her husband Justin on the birth of their baby boy,” cohost Whoopi Goldberg said.
“He weighed in at 7 lbs. and 19-and-a-half inches.”
The news comes just two days after Alyssa said Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show would put her in labor.
Alyssa’s prediction came true, because her co-hosts announced the next day that she has absent from the show because she was due to give birth.
“She’s at the hospital right now!” Whoopi announced during Tuesday’s episode.
“And we are wishing her the best as she waits for her baby boy to arrive.”
On February 3, Alyssa celebrated her on-air baby shower.
The TV personality, who has been open about her fertility struggles, fought back tears as she watched video tributes from loved ones alongside her husband Justin.
“I’m so grateful, honestly,” Alyssa said.
“They say it takes a village and just knowing I have such a wonderful village at this table, this amazing husband, and my family and friends, I mean – that means so much to me.”
The View has tapped several celebrity hosts to fill in for Alyssa during her maternity leave.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Abby Huntsman are the first guest hosts to appear on the show beginning February 17, according to Deadline.
They’ll be followed by Amanda Carpenter, Sheryl Underwood, Whitney Cummings, and Savannah Chrisley.
