SHOCKING CCTV: Man Attacks Hospital Staff with ‘Corrosive Substance’ 😱

A man who forced a hospital into shutdown with a tear gas attack has been caught on CCTV as he was jailed for over three years.

The horror attack happened at around 5.30pm on October 10, 2025 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Emergency services were called to a report of a disturbance and the assault of two people.

Piotr Huczynski, 37, pleaded guilty to multiple charges at the city’s sheriff court in January. The charges included assault and the reckless discharge of a firearm by spraying a corrosive substance.

Huczynski was jailed for a total of 44 months and banned from the road for more than six years. CCTV from the incident has now been released and it captures the horror attack as it unfolded.

In the CCTV footage, Huczynski is seen using CS spray in the face of a medic and a security guard in the A&E unit at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The horror attack came after Huczynski became annoyed over long wait times.

The hospital was forced to evacuate and closed for three hours. Huczynski can be seen wailing his arms around as he was escorted from the emergency unit.

After three members of staff stood at the door blocking the entrance, Huczynski is witnessed pulling out CS spray before aiming towards the workers. He is then seen running away. Huczynski sped off in a car, despite being banned from the road until 2034.

After the guilty verdict Inspector Katy Townhill said: “This was a reckless incident that resulted in two people being injured. Huczynski showed no regard for the welfare of others in the hospital, and he will now face the consequences of his actions.

“I’d like to thank the public for their support and patience while we dealt with this incident. We take offences such as this very seriously and will not tolerate violence in hospital environments. Our officers will always strive to support partners and ensure that those involved are brought to justice.”
