Jordan Wrightm – star of the hit reality TV show ‘TOWIE’ – was seen running frantically back to his hotel in Phuket, and two days later his body was found in a drainage canal.
On March 20th, news of Jordan Wrightm’s death in Thailand during a long holiday shocked the British entertainment industry and his fans. According to Mirror, at noon on March 15th, a worker discovered Jordan lying face down in a canal wearing a grey shirt and black trousers, without shoes. A key card from the Coco Phuket Bangtao hotel was found in his pocket, and his phone was near the canal bank. Investigators said there were no signs of physical assault or a struggle.

However, footage from security cameras two days earlier shows Jordan Wright frantically running toward his hotel at midnight, constantly looking back. Jordan is also seen clinging to a white pickup truck as he runs across the grounds and tripping.
What happened afterward is unclear, but it is believed he ran across the rough terrain surrounding the hotel. He then reportedly jumped into a creek about 3 meters deep, crossed the shallow water, and reached a nearby construction site – an area without surveillance cameras. His body was later found there.
In a recent statement, Lieutenant Colonel Sutthirak Chuthong of the Choeng Thale regional police station said: “The circumstances leading to the death remain quite unclear. The possibility of other people being involved cannot be ruled out.”
According to police investigations, Jordan Wright was staying alone at the hotel and was scheduled to check out on March 13th, but staff reported that he never checked out. CCTV footage showed him appearing restless and moving around the hotel before leaving the area on the day he went missing. “His movements ultimately led to the location where his body was later found. We are still awaiting the autopsy results from Vachira Phuket Hospital to determine if any stimulants were in his system,” police said.
A source at the hotel revealed that Jordan Wright had no visitors during his stay. The person said: “He went out in the evening like the other guests. Nothing unusual until we couldn’t find him on the day he was supposed to check out.”
In the weeks leading up to his death, Jordan frequently shared updates about his life in Thailand, where he enjoyed cocktails on the beach, sipped champagne by the infinity pool, and explored the countryside on a motorbike. The British star also posted videos of himself working out in Phuket and practicing Thai boxing with friends. His last Instagram post was on March 6th.
