SCARLETT Lee has announced she’s expecting her first baby, due to arrive this August.
The X Factor alum, 28, couldn’t be more excited to welcome her son and shared a heartfelt poem on Instagram with an emotional caption.
The poem reads: “Ten little fingers, two little toes. Two beautiful eyes and a cute button nose. Singing along to mummy at all her shows”.
Framed underneath the sweet words is a framed photo of one of Scarlett’s ultrasounds.
Announcing the pregnancy news, Scarlett gushed: “For this child we have prayed and the Lord has granted our hearts desire.
“Baby Cole coming August 2026. We cannot wait for our next chapter of being mummy and daddy and I cannot wait to share my music journey with our little blessing.”
Fans of the singer rushed to the post’s comments section to extend their congratulations to her and her husband, Nathan Shaw.
“Congratulations my Scarlett I am so happy for you both,” said one user.
“Awww such gorgeous news, congratulations,” said another.
A third added: “You’re going to be the best mamma.”
Scarlett competed on the XFactor in both 2017 and 2018, before becoming more well known.
In her first XFactor shot, Scarlett reached the six chair challenge stage before being sent home by the judges.
But just the next year, she made it all the way to second place, performing a beautifully festive duet of One More Sleep with Leona Lewis.
Narrowly losing out to Dalton Harris, who killed it crooning The Power of Love alongside James Arthur, Scarlett has still been working on her music career since leaving the show.
In 2024 Scarlett auditioned for American Idol, reaching Hollywood week before being eliminated.
She’s also been making podcast appearances discussing upcoming projects, including an album she plans to drop in 2026.
Scarlett and Nathan tied the knot in 2019 after being together for years as childhood sweethearts.
Nathan reportedly proposed to her in a graveyard beside the graves of her grandparents to honor them and include them in the intimate moment.
