Eve Myles is back on screens for ITV’s thriller Gone – and it turn out she has a rather famous husband.
Welsh actress Eve plays Detective Annie Cassidy in the new gripping drama that follows local Headmaster Michael Polly (David Morrissey) who becomes the main suspect following his wife’s death.
Annie is brought in to investigate the mysterious death of Sarah, after she disappeared and was later found murdered in the woods near her house. An unknown person strangled her to death before dumping her dead body and making a run for it.
Away from the TV sets and shots though, actress Eve is loved-up with her husband Bradley Freegard. The pair tied the knot back in 2013 and share three children.
Bradley, who first met Eve at the National Youth Theatre during the 1990s, is also a Welsh actor and has appeared in several shows over the years. The actor set foot in Walford too back in 2012, for a stint on EastEnders.
He played Gethin Williams on the BBC One soap and was brought in as part of Jane Beale’s (Laurie Brett) exit storyline. As well as EastEnders, Bradley played King Canute in the Netflix hit Vikings: Valhalla and Mei Huws in the Welsh language S4C series, Gwaith/Cartref.
Bradley also co-starred alongside his wife Eve in Keeping Faith, where he played her fictional missing husband Evan. Other notable roles include Holby City, Hinterland and Under Milk Wood.
Talking about his romance with Eve, Bradley said in 2009: “I was attracted to her straight away, she’s got a fantastic personality and similar sense of humour as me, so we just get on really well.
“We’re both actors, this is our profession, it’s just what we do. The real reason I think we’ve been together so long and through so much is because we were with each other before things really started taking off.”
Meanwhile Eve previously revealed about their first encounter. She said: “I couldn’t get rid of him, and then he became part of the furniture.
“He would knock on my dorm-room door all the time with Champagne and glasses he’d pinched from his mother’s house. Then one day I realised he was rather handsome!”
