Viewers of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! were left absolutely stunned after witnessing Aitch breeze through one of the most excruciating Bushtucker Trials in the history of the show. The 25-year-old Manchester-born rapper, who has already become a firm favourite among fans thanks to his humour and charisma, tackled what many are now calling the “worst Bushtucker Trial ever”—and he did it with an almost unbelievable level of calm.

The challenge, titled “Night Night, Sleep Tight,” was easily the most terrifying trial of the series so far. Designed to push even the bravest celebrities to their breaking point, it combined enclosed spaces, total darkness, venomous-looking critters, and serpents slithering across every inch of the participant’s body. Yet, despite the nightmarish setup, Aitch approached the ordeal with remarkable composure.
Heading down to face his third trial of the season, the rapper looked relaxed. He showed no visible signs of fear or hesitation, shocking fans who expected screams, shouts, or at least signs of dread. But Aitch stepped into the trial as if it were just another day in the jungle—and his ability to maintain his cool only intensified as the challenge began.
Once he lay on the bed positioned at the center of the trial area, two towering demonic figures emerged. Their job was to place various critters, snakes, spiders, and other jungle creatures onto him while he remained blindfolded. This alone would cause most participants to immediately panic—but Aitch barely flinched.
Massive snakes wound themselves across his arms and torso, insects crawled into the folds of his clothing, and spiders—as big as the palm of a hand—climbed across his chest and goggles. Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly struggled to watch the ordeal unfold. Dec grimaced repeatedly, while Ant turned away at moments, admitting he wasn’t sure he could look directly at what Aitch was enduring with shocking calm.
Viewers at home reacted similarly, with many taking to X to express their disbelief. One fan posted: “Aitch just lived my worst nightmare.” Another viewer added, “I’ve watched I’m A Celeb for the past 20 years—this is the worst trial I’ve ever seen. Those spiders!”
Dozens of fans echoed the sentiment, agreeing that it was one of the most harrowing trials to date—and yet Aitch “made it look easy.”

The trial was divided into three mini-challenges—each designed to test different fears and push contestants beyond their comfort zones.
In the first section, Aitch was completely covered in snakes. Their bodies slid across his neck, stomach, arms, and legs. Once his blindfold was removed, he was required to untie stars that dangled above his head, each attached to separate tangled strings. Despite the writhing reptiles around him, Aitch methodically located and untied the stars, maintaining focus even when snakes wound themselves around his wrists.
The second portion involved a shower of critters—beetles, cockroaches, worms, and crawling insects raining down on him as he attempted to use a dreamcatcher-style net to collect falling stars. One of the stars slipped through and hit the ground, meaning it was lost, but Aitch still secured three out of the four available.
At one point, insects briefly flooded into his shirt and crawled across his back, yet his expression remained impressively neutral. Fans couldn’t understand how he maintained composure. As one viewer joked online: “I’d have fainted before even lying down.”
The third and final nightmare was perhaps the most distressing to watch. Giant spiders—hairy, long-legged, and looming—were released directly onto Aitch’s body. They climbed across his chest and arms, with some making their way toward his face. At one moment, a large spider paused directly beside his mouth, and yet he remained still, barely blinking.

His task was to untie four ropes suspended overhead. Even with massive spiders crawling across his cheeks, he managed to loosen each knot quickly and efficiently.
By the end of the trial, Aitch had earned an impressive eleven out of twelve stars. Each nightmare offered four stars, meaning he came incredibly close to a perfect score. While the trial itself was brutal, his ability to stay composed made his performance stand out as one of the most memorable in recent seasons.
However, upon returning to camp, he learned that one of the stars he won would be taken away—not because of his performance, but because another campmate, Shona McGarty, had been caught with contraband salt in the jungle. Shona admitted she had brought salt sachets with her to help season meals for the entire camp. Despite her confession, the group didn’t hold it against her, acknowledging that she had only been trying to make their meagre meals more appetising.
Following the episode, social media buzzed with reactions. Many viewers felt the trial was specifically designed to break even the most confident celebrity.
One user wrote: “This trial is definitely the worst one—hands down. Aitch made it look easy but the fear I felt just watching was unreal.”
Others praised the rapper’s courage. “Aitch is unbelievable,” another fan wrote. “How did he stay so calm?! I’d have screamed the jungle down.”
Some viewers even suggested Aitch might have a “secret talent” for keeping calm under pressure. Others theorized that he may have mentally prepared himself beforehand, or perhaps he has a unique tolerance for creepy crawlies.
After the trial, Aitch finally revealed what had allowed him to stay so composed during such an intense and fear-inducing ordeal. Viewers who assumed he was simply fearless were taken aback by his surprising admission. Though spoken casually, his confession added a layer of intrigue to the episode—leaving many wondering how someone could mentally steel themselves against snakes, spiders, and swarms of insects.
He admitted that once he was lying there with the creatures crawling over him, he forced himself into a mental zone of complete focus. Rather than panicking, he told himself that losing his composure would make everything worse—and that the only way out was through. As viewers will see in upcoming episodes, Aitch describes it as a moment of going “blank” and refusing to acknowledge the sensations of the spiders and snakes on his skin.
It wasn’t fearlessness—it was discipline, mindset, and a surprising ability to detach from fear.
As the dust settles from the trial, it’s clear Aitch’s performance will go down as one of the standout moments of the season. His ability to remain calm during a challenge that had even Ant and Dec looking away solidified his reputation not just as a fan favourite, but as one of the toughest contestants of I’m A Celebrity 2025.
Whether the challenges ahead will be able to shake him remains to be seen—but one thing is certain: viewers will be tuning in, eager to see what Aitch does next.
