SOME women hit 55 and wear a twin set and pearls – but not Amanda Holden.
The telly host is racier than ever. You can count on her for pearls of wisdom as a judge on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent — and on her sexy underwear, she cheekily reveals to me.
“It’s very Sex And The City of me, but the only pearls I own are attached to a thong I wear at home, especially at weekends,” she teases.
Inspired by Kim Cattrell’s Samantha, who famously wore a pearl thong in the hit series, Amanda said she’s a big fan of the risqué lingerie.
Turning 55 last month, body confident Amanda showed off her jaw-dropping figure in a semi-sheer white bodysuit to mark the milestone.
The mum-of-two, who’s also just bagged a second series of her BBC One quiz show The Inner Circle, says she feels better than ever.
“I feel great,” she beamed.
“I’m very lucky with my genetics as, although I exercise on my Peloton at home, I eat and drink whatever I like within reason.
“Unless it’s after my summer holiday!
“I’m always carrying some extra timber when I return to work in September, but I’m very active and it falls off quickly.
Amanda is back on screen tomorrow, alongside Alesha Dixon, Simon Cowell and new judge KSI, as more talented hopefuls try to impress the BGT panel.
Her daring outfits over the years have landed her in hot water.
Disapproving viewers have complained about her plunging necklines and thigh-high splits, saying they’re too revealing for a family show.
Amanda’s most controversial look on BGT was a plunging black gown by Julien Macdonald.
It sparked 633 viewer complaints, making it the most complained-about TV moment of 2017.
Undeterred, Amanda warns there will be more skin on show this series.
“Of course there will be side boob, leg and anything else that I can get out,” she laughed.
“The only change is that I care less these days about what anyone thinks of me.
“I’m surrounded by like-minded people who have good energy.
“I don’t have time for negativity.”
Amanda says she’s growing in confidence.
“I call it self-preservation. I have no rule book with fashion — I encourage everyone to wear whatever makes them feel good.
“You’ll never see me without a heel, a lash and a bit of lippy, and that’s because I want to, not because I feel I have to.
“I perhaps have way more courage now than I did before — there is no holding me back!”
That’s the spirit, Amanda!

“We need to go, ‘I’m good with you, you’re good with me’.
“It’s 2026, let’s leave it in the past.”
