Bridget’s weight loss journey seemingly began in recent years and functional nutritionist Monica Partier recently shed some light on the star losing pounds.
‘It appears that she has shed at least 75lbs in the past few years, which is not an easy thing to do over the age of 50,’ said Monica to the Daily Mail last month in October.
‘Fonda could have taken the diabetes drug Ozempic that could have aided in her weight loss journey or she could have tried GLP-1 agonists like semaglutide – brand name Wegovy – and a tirzepatide l- brand name Zepbound.
‘But if she did it without drugs, there are several paths she could have taken,’ the nutritionist added.
Bridget made her film debut in the 1969 movie Easy Rider at the age of five – which had also starred her father Peter as well as Jack Nicholson and Dennis Hopper.
In the late 80s, she began to take on roles in other projects such as You Can’t Hurry Love (1988) and Scandal (1989).
In 1990, she played the character of a journalist in Francis Ford Coppola’s sequel The Godfather Part III.
She then starred in Single White Female (1992) alongside Jennifer Jason Leigh – with the psychological erotic thriller becoming a cult classic in later years.
