BRIT BOYBAND STAR STUNS FANS WITH DRAMATIC NEW LOOK 12 YEARS AFTER WALKING AWAY FROM THE BAND. K1

A FORMER Brit boyband heartthrob has been spotted looking a far cry from his top of the charts heyday as he made a rare public appearance this week. But would you recognise who it is?

Now with a grey beard and salt and pepper hair, it’s Take That heartthrob Jason Orange.

Snapped out and about in Cheshire, Jason, 55, wore a red bandana and sunglasses as he seemingly kept a low profile.

Donning grey cargo trousers with a matching charcoal sweatshirt and a bagpack, his look is far from some of the wild ensembles he sported while in the top boyband.

Jason was part of the original line-up alongside Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald, and Robbie Williams, who quit the band in 1995.

He walked away from Take That back in 2014 and has since shunned the entertainment industry as a whole.

Jason now lives a quiet life in the countryside, and is thought to mainly reside in the Cotswolds.

Gary, Mark and Howard have been performing as a trio since his departure and are still touring now.

In 2020, they reunited with Robbie for a special virtual performance during Covid-19, which Jason wasn’t part of.

At the time of his departure from the band, Jason said: “I want to start by saying how proud I am of what we have achieved together over the years.

“I have spent some of the best years of my life with Take That and I’d like to thank everyone who has been a part of my journey, including my band mates, who I feel are like brothers to me.”

The singer hasn’t spoken out since, and his former bandmates have made it clear there’s no chance of him returning to the spotlight.

In 2023, Mark said of his pal: “I think Jason felt like he didn’t want to do it any more. But I’m not going to speak for him.”
