Danniella Westbrook has made another public appearance as she continues an extensive programme of facial reconstruction.
The 52-year-old former EastEnders actress attended a Sellebrity Soccer charity match in Hornchurch, East London, several weeks after undergoing a further operation. Wearing a floral maxi dress, a sleek ponytail and dark sunglasses, she greeted guests while still visibly recovering from the procedure.
Danniella has been open about the complicated medical work required to repair damage to her facial structure. She has previously explained that earlier substance dependence contributed to the collapse of her nasal septum, while osteoporosis has caused additional bone deterioration.
Her latest treatment focused on reconstructing the area around her upper lip and included work inside her mouth and nose. She had previously told followers that she felt safe under the care of her surgeon and could finally see a clearer path through the lengthy process.
Speaking during an interview with Vanessa Feltz, Danniella said she may need approximately six more procedures over the next 18 months. She expects operations to take place every two and a half to three months as specialists gradually rebuild and realign different areas of her face.
One future stage may involve a metal cheekbone implant because of significant bone loss on one side of her face. Danniella explained that temporary fillers are currently being used, but surgeons are considering a more permanent reconstruction.
Earlier in 2026, she underwent several procedures in Dubai, reportedly including face, neck and brow lifts alongside further work on her nose and lips. She later said those operations had helped restore some of the confidence she had lost.
The recovery has not been easy. Danniella has acknowledged that changes to her appearance have affected the way she feels when looking in the mirror. She has also faced cruel online remarks, although she says many supportive followers have continued to encourage her.
Her latest appearance is therefore about more than revealing a different look. It represents another stage in a long process involving physical healing, emotional adjustment and the gradual rebuilding of her confidence.
With further treatment still ahead, Danniella appears focused on taking her recovery one procedure at a time. Her openness may also remind others that reconstructive treatment is rarely immediate and that healing can involve patience, specialist care and strong personal support.
