Rugby legend Danny Cipriani and bride-to-be AnnaLynne McCord have launched an online fundraiser, asking their wedding guests to pay for their wedding day.
It comes months after Danny’s furious ex-wife Victoria Rose hit out at him in an angry statement after claiming bailiffs ‘banged on her door’ and clamped her car. The sports star – once dubbed rugby’s David Beckham – popped the question to AnnaLynne last year after they met on celeb dating app Raya ten years ago.
Speaking about the proposal, the actress shared details of the romantic set up the hunk arranged. She went downstairs to find rose petals “everywhere” and a heart made out of the flower, with Danny waiting on one knee with a ring.
They will tie the knot in August, and while we all know weddings can drain our bank accounts it seems they have taken a very different approach to funding it – asking guests to help pay for, well, pretty much everything. The good news is that you don’t even have to be attending to make a donation.

Created a page through the Honeyfund platform, guests and well-wishers can help by gifting them anything between £75 and £450. You can help towards, including decorations, paying for their drinks and even with their wedding cake.
They have helpfully allowed people to donate for different things, with reception catering costing around £200 each, and photography priced at an oddly-cheap £250.
You can even add £550 to your basket to cover the cost of the flowers but if you want the couple to enjoy what comes next, there’s an option to give them some money towards their honeymoon. The total amount that they have asked for comes to £10,660, which doesn’t include the separate cash donations section.
Mirror Online have approached the couple’s reps for comment.
There’s also a guestbook where anyone can leave a comment ahead of their nuptials and one wrote: “Cheapskates..asking others to pay for your wedding ..how rotten and low is that.” Another offered a poem, writing; “May all the turds of enteral light come flowing through on your day of sh*te”.
AnnaLynne, 38, couldn’t stop crying before she eventually said yes to Danny.
She told People: “I cried for ten minutes straight. At some point, I realised I had to answer. I said, ‘Yes, but I can’t even speak,’ and he replied, ‘That’s OK, it’s actually a good sign that you are quiet for once.’ Then, we’re all laughing.”
They first met on Raya, around a decade ago and an on-and-off relationship for years before they split in 2020.
Danny married model Victoria Cipriani, 44, in April 2021, but they called it quits in November 2023.
He then got back with AnnaLynne before they again ended their romance in February 2024. They quickly decided they couldn’t be without each other and rekindled their romance.
Danny made 16 appearances for his country between 2008 and 2018 and played for the likes of Bath, Gloucester and Sale Sharks. The talented fly-half announced his departure from rugby in January last year at the age of 36.
