Leisha was set to surprise her ex Reiss Boyce and make her debut on Ex on the Beach, but bosses decided last minute to drop her from the line-up.
A source said that things in the villa quickly changed, which meant they didn’t need Leisha after all.
A source told us: “Leisha was all set to fly out to Tenerife to join the Ex on the Beach line-up.
“She had been gearing herself up for it for weeks and was in hiding back in the UK.

“Leisha was set to surprise ex MAFS husband Reiss and to see if there was any unfinished business between them.
“But things didn’t go to plan and Reiss was booted out of the villa just days after his arrival.
“He was voted out and sent home which in the end meant that bosses didn’t see the point of putting Leisha into the villa.
“Leisha going in was only supposed to happen if Reiss was still on the show and sadly she was dropped just 24 hours before she was supposed to fly out.
“Understandably she was upset that she wasn’t going in but she knew that may be the case when she signed up.”
The Sun has reached out to MTV and Leisha’s rep for comment.
The Sun previously revealed that Reiss would be appearing on Ex on the Beach – and was set to come face-to-face with his Towie ex Dani Imbert.
While the pair briefly reignited their romance this summer after Reiss split from his MAFS bride Leisha, they quickly hit a rough patch again with Reiss claiming Dani abruptly went to Dubai without him, ending the relationship.
But viewers will get to see Dani and Reiss hash things out for the first time on-screen.
A TV source said in November: “Both Reiss and Dani will appear on the next series of MTV’s Celeb Ex On The Beach.
“There is a lot of unfinished business between the pair. Neither know that the other one will be on it, although they may have their suspicions.
“Both of them are in lockdown at the moment without their phones ahead of filming starting, so it’s going to be explosive when they have that first meeting with the cameras rolling.
“Who knows whether they will squash their beef, whether sparks will fly again or if they will come away hating each other? One thing is for sure, it will be tv gold for reality fans.”
Reiss recently spoke to the The Sun about his split from Leisha.
He said it wasn’t just being at different ends of the country that ended the romance.
Reiss opened up about off screen moments that led to the break-up, and said: “What pushed me away was the drama.”
Throughout the series, Leisha made her feelings clear for Reiss – and even said she loved him.
While he was moving at a slower pace, Reiss appeared determined to give their relationship a go when he committed to her at the final ceremony.
But the pair called it quits just a few months after the experiment after they clashed while out on a night out.
The Sun revealed today that Dani will ends up getting the eye for Love Island‘s Toby Aromolaran in a surprise move.
A source said: “Obviously the whole premise of Ex On The Beach is that exes will arrive to have the celebs’ heads turning but fans will be caught up in Toby and Dani’s romance for sure.
“They’re both so hot – you can imagine how good they look together – and there’s definite chemistry.
“They’re one of the series’ big storylines and bosses are excited for fans to watch.”
The full line-up includes stars from Too Hot To Handle and even a member of Jedward.
