SHONA McGarty and Tony Discipline looked closer than ever as they cosied up on a wild day out for fellow former EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley’s birthday. The soap stars reunited with Lorraine for a boozy day event ahead of her 49th birthday later this month.
After previously sparking rumours of a romance, Shona, 34, and Tony, 37, did nothing to shut them down while posing together on the day.
One snap shared on social media showed the rumoured couple taking a break from dancing, with Tony wrapping his arms around Shona from behind.
The loved-up photos continued, with Tony seen kissing her on the head in another while a third saw them laughing together.
Shona, known for playing Whitney Dean in the BBC1 soap, and Tony, who previously played Tyler Moon, sent fans wild with the Instagram upload.
One wrote: “Tony and Shona!!”
And another said: “Love it Tyler and Whitney reunited.”
Tony left Eastenders in 2013 after two years on the show.
Meanwhile Shona bowed out of the soap in 2023, after spending 16 years in Walford.
It comes just weeks after they posed together at the Women’s Football Awards – with fans at the time asking if they were soft-launching their relationship on the red carpet.
When Shona shared photos from the glam event on social media, her followers were quick to ask questions.
One user said: “Is this a soft launch???”
While a second demanded: “What is going on?”
Earlier this month Tony revealed he is open to making a return to EastEnders.
Speaking to The Sun on behalf of CasinoHawks he said: “I’ve not [been asked back yet] but never say never.
“I’d always be open to having the conversation. I loved my time there, and who knows what the future holds.”
